This is how to differentiate between a REAL ARTWORK from AI or Fake Digital Tricks
Before you believe every "artist" you see online, ask for these:
1. Work-in-Progress (WIP): Real artists show the process. You’ll see messy stages, evolving layers, and effort, not just instant and quick perfection.
2. Close-Up Shots: Look closely. Real pen drawings have strokes, overlaps, and ink pressure. Every line always tells a story of the hand behind it.
3. Paper Texture & Physical Artefacts: Genuine drawings show paper grain, ink shine, and sometimes little smudges, not digital pixels.
4. Time-Based Content: Real artists can show videos, timelapses, or reels of the actual drawing process. AI can’t fake consistency over time. Take note of that 👈👈👈
5. Artist Statements & Captions: A true artist speaks about their craft, their hours of work, their inspiration, not just "prompt" words.
6. Style Consistency with KNOWN MATERIALS AND BRANDS: A real pen artist’s work keeps the same feel and texture across all pieces. Ballpoint ink behaves a certain way. You can’t replicate that with a prompt.
So next time you see "art or realistic art", look for these signs. If they can’t provide any of the above, what you’re seeing isn’t art; IT'S AN ILLUSION!!!

AI is fast, but art made by hand carries something deeper.
On the left is an AI-generated pen drawing. On the right is my traditional pen drawing, created with hours of patience, skill, and passion.
AI can imitate style, but it cannot replace the human touch, creativity, or emotion that goes into real art. Both have their place, but traditional art will always carry the story of the artist behind it.
Let’s appreciate technology, but also respect the value of human effort. ✍🏽💙
