Pride in Classic Literature

Watch documentaries about classic literature and enjoy a deeper look into the lives and history of famous LGBTQ authors.
Our documentaries chronicle diverse authors through
the ages who express the dreams, oppression,
and artistic legacies of LGBTQ people.

These short films will appeal to teachers,
students of all ages, and anyone who enjoys
classic literature. From the amazing legacies of
Sappho and Shakespeare, the creative boldness
of Oscar Wilde and Virginia Woolf, and the
mainstream popularity of contemporary authors
such as Lorraine Hansberry, Michael
Cunningham, and Mary Oliver, we celebrate
literature that continues to educate, inform, and
entertain.
