In Loving Memory of Cookie
September 7, 2022 – January 2, 2025
Cookie was more than just a dog she was our little athlete, our adventurer, and a bundle of joy. From the moment we brought her home, her cookies-and-cream coat and boundless energy lit up our lives. She loved chasing Frisbees, exploring the park and river, and sharing adventures with her sister Nilla.
Just before her second birthday, Cookie began showing signs of something we didn’t understand — vision changes, anxiety, and strange behaviors. Despite our best efforts, and even trips to specialists, we learned she had a severe case of brain atrophy caused by NCL, a rare and cruel disease.
Though her time with us was far too short, every moment was filled with love, laughter, and memories we will treasure forever. Cookie taught us joy, resilience, and the depth of love a pet can give. We will carry her spirit with us always.
Rest peacefully, sweet girl. You will always be in our hearts. ❤️🐾
