Do you think the'll ever that there will ever be an locomotive that looks like a standard cab C40-8 or Norfolk Southern's (NS) former standard cab C40-9 but with an AC traction motor instead of a DC traction motor? Maybe an C40AC or AC4400CS? I don't know what else to call it! But the AC4400CW locomotives are the AC variants of the C44-9Ws.

Fun Fact about the 2003 Nathan K5H

Not only they were used on the Pre-Produced GEVO's, but CSX equipped them on a fair amount of their old C40-8Ws and their AC4400CWs, but I mostly see videos of their Dash 8s. There are more locomotives with this horn too.

SD70ACe Vs SD70M-2.

The SD70ACe has Alternating Current traction motors, while the SD70M-2 has Direct Current Traction motors!

The 1st picture shows the SD70ACe. You'll notice those vents sitting on the conductor's side of the locomotive!

The 2nd Picture shows is it's DC variant, the SD70M-2. You'll notice that the vents on an SD70ACe are not present!
