Day 9 of Dhu’l-Hijjah (04/08/2019)
- THE DAY OF ARAFAH It was narrated from ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “There is no day on which Allaah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of ‘Arafaah. He comes close and expresses His pride to the angels, saying, ‘What do these people want?’”

It was reported from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah expresses His pride to His angels at the time of ‘Ishaa’ on the Day of ‘Arafaah, about the people of ‘Arafaah. He says, ‘Look at My slaves who have come unkempt and dusty.’” Narrated by Ahmad and classed as saheeh by al-Albaani.

Ibn Taymiyyah: “A person asked his Shaykh; I sin then repent then sin then repent, until when?
He said: Until Shayṭān DESPAIRS of you."

The sound of tranquility:
Ibn Al-Qayyim said: “The sound of the #Quraan brings tranquility to the soul and calms it and makes it dignified, while the sound of music intimidates it, disturbs it and arouses it.”

Ibn Rajab al-Ḥanbalī Raḥimahullāh said: “From the greatest of voluntary acts through which Allāh’s Love is earned, is reciting and pondering upon Qur’ān.”
Day 1 of Dhu’l-Hijjah (02/08/2019) IMPORTANT: Ibn Umar (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhuma) narrated that the Prophet (sall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam) said, “There are no days that the good deeds are beloved and preferable to Allah than the first ten days of Dhu’l-Hijjah, so increase and double your tahleel and takbeer and tahmeed.”
