👋 Bye Bye, Walmart Global Tech India ❤️

Two weeks ago, I wrapped up an amazing chapter of my life at Walmart Global Tech India — and honestly, it was way more than just a job. For the last 4 years, it felt like home.

I still remember that nervous excitement on my very first day — feels like just yesterday! 😊

Over the years, I got to work on some really exciting and meaningful stuff, like:

✨ Membership Desk by Sam's Club - Walmart Global Tech India where I built scalable services, handled migrations, resolved compliance issues, and tuned performance to keep things running smoothly.


One of my favorite moments? Leading the development of a full credit card feature — end-to-end. It definitely came with its share of late nights and intense sprints, but seeing the real impact made it all worth it.

🏆 Getting the hashtag#ExcellenceAward for that work was such a proud and humbling moment for me.

But honestly, what I’ll miss the most? People.

To my friends and teammates — Thank you for making work feel like fun, and for all the laughs, support, and memories along the way 💛

Walmart Global Tech India was never just a job — where I grew, learned, stumbled, and celebrated those small wins that meant everything.

As I get ready for what’s next, I’m carrying everything I’ve learned here — the skills, the mindset, and most importantly, the friendship.

A lot of people are losing their jobs, which is becoming a common thing.

A lot of Indian companies and non-Indian companies that recently let go of their employees. If you look closely, the numbers are way higher than what's being reported.

Most companies aren't hiring much right now, and there are way more people graduating and searching for jobs every year.


If this keeps up, a few things will happen:

1.Salaries will drop.
2.Salary raises will be smaller (which we're already seeing).
3.Competition for jobs will get really tough.
4. It'll be harder and harder to land a job.

We'll have a lot of young people feeling down because they can't find work.

My advice to students:

🌟Stay upbeat.
🌟Stay informed.
🌟Keep learning new skills.
"We can't control tough times, but we can stay strong and focus on improving ourselves."

To my students:

🌟Stay away from distractions like Reels and shorts.
🌟Focus on getting really good at something.
🌟Stay positive and work hard (because shortcuts don't lead to real success).
And remember, "Having intense focus is a superpower in today's world."
