Growing Up Without Borders

We're a Canadian/Swiss family traveling to every country in the world! 146 Completed.

What started as a five-week holiday in April 2013 has turned into a worldwide odyssey of adventure and discovery of 146 countries! Along the way, we have gained a lot of insight into living and working in multiple countries with our 3 girls.

We've decided to start giving back and sharing our appreciation for what we've learned with the creation of this Youtube channel. We share weekly travel videos filled with travel advice and recommendations for each city we visit.

Growing Up Without Borders

“Something Personal I Want to Share”

This isn’t easy to talk about — and honestly, I wish I didn’t have to say anything publicly at all. But with so many people asking questions and things being said that aren’t true, I want to speak honestly and directly.

After 24 years of marriage, my wife and I have separated. It wasn’t my choice, and it’s been one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced. We built a life together, raised three amazing kids, and shared a lot of beautiful memories. I’ll always be grateful for that.

Right now, things are complicated and painful. There’s tension, there’s confusion, and there have been actions taken that I never expected — including being cut off from parts of our shared life and business. On top of that, some of what’s being said publicly — like me locking people out of social media — simply isn’t true. But I’m not here to throw stones or start a war of words.

I’m here to say this: I still love my children more than life. I’m still showing up every day, doing the best I can, even through heartbreak and unfairness. I’m choosing not to fight dirty. I’m choosing not to speak poorly about people I love deeply. I’m choosing to walk through this with integrity — not because I’m perfect, but because I still believe in love, respect, and truth.

If you’ve been confused, thank you for your patience. If you’ve shown support, I’m deeply grateful. And if you’re going through something heavy in your own life, I just want to say — you’re not alone.

This is a new chapter I never saw coming. But I trust I’ll grow through it. And I hope, in time, those I love will see that too.

With a full heart,
Tyler
