Taamir Ransome, former 1st SFOD-D (Delta Force) EOD operator. 🇺🇸
Enlisting in the U.S. Army just weeks after the September 11 attacks, Ransome began his career with the 82nd Airborne Division before earning qualification as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technician. He later served in Special Operations EOD with the 75th Ranger Regiment, where he supported high-risk direct action missions before being selected for Delta Force.
Across a distinguished 22-year military career, Ransome deployed extensively in support of combat and counterterrorism operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria, while serving on six continents. His career included counter-IED operations, hostage rescue support, sensitive site exploitation, and specialized explosive breaching within the U.S. National Mission Force. Following retirement, he has worked in technology, cybersecurity, veteran mentorship, and authored the book Mind of a Soldier: 34 Laws for the War After the War.
