Are you feeling so run down that you have no interest in doing anything for yourself anymore?


From the moment you get up, you feel like a train hit you, and it gets worse as the day goes on! By lunchtime, you are ready for bed!


But you have work and so many other errands to run, shopping, appointments, and kids pickups, so you can’t take that time for yourself, and so you power through the day only to end up feeling worse by the time the evening comes around and all you want to do is fall onto the couch and binge-watch Netflix for the night.


You have tried this diet and that diet that your friend recommended but you still don’t feel any better,
and you’re not sure how long more you can go like this before you completely burn out, if you haven’t already.


Most people in this case go to soft drinks, sugary snacks, and processed foods thinking this will make them feel better and give them more energy!


But doing this is actually making things worse. That heavy and bloated feeling after you eat is your body’s way of saying you need more nutrients.


Here's how I fix this issue with my clients, I get them to focus on this 3 step method called the Energy Ignitor Method.


Step 1 ) Drink more water, I recommend at least 3 litres, depending on your body weight. This will keep your body and mind actually hydrated which means your energy will stay high and those afternoon headaches will go away.


Step 2 ) Eat more whole foods, fruits, and vegetables, nuts & seeds, etc throughout the day Monday - Friday, rather than coffee, chocolate & crisps. This is the fuel your body needs to get through the day, the other stuff is slowing you down, so save these for the weekend.


Step 3) Go to bed earlier. As much as there are lots of good series on Netflix right now, you value your health more. Getting 7-9 hours of sleep each night is much more important than finding what happens next in that episode of friends that you’ve watched 10 times anyway.
