My head is healing well, and thankfully my shoulder is still painful but getting a little better each day.
Other than that, I’m absolutely loving every minute of being here in Bali and making the most of every experience with my family. ❤️
I’ll continue to upload short videos whenever I can, but unfortunately, my Meta Ray-Ban glasses took the brunt of my recent fall, so I’m not able to take pictures or record as much as I probably would have done.
Thanks, MND! 🙄😂
But don’t worry… the longer videos will return when I’m back home from Bali. Until then, I’ll keep sharing what I can and enjoying every minute of this incredible adventure. 🌴☀️❤️
After a recent fall while away in Bali, it has hindered me from being able to record any long videos. I will carry on with short video updates as I go, but the next long video will be when I get back to the UK. Until then, I’m going to relax and spend time with my family and enjoy this epic holiday in Bali ✌️
So… apparently 5,000 of you have watched me wobble, adapt, laugh, overshare, and occasionally lose an argument with everyday objects… and thought, “Yep, I’ll subscribe to this bloke.” 😂
When I started sharing my life with Motor Neurone Disease, I genuinely never imagined this. I never set out to build a community like this. I simply wanted to show the reality of living with MND, raise awareness, and prove that even when life changes, there’s still plenty to smile and laugh about.
Now there are 5,000 of you following the journey, and that honestly blows my mind.
Thank you for every view, every comment, every like, every share, and every message. Whether you’ve been here since day one or you’ve only just found the channel, you’ve become part of something really special.
Right… who’s volunteering to inflate the balloons when we hit 10,000? Because I definitely won’t be! 🎈😂
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being here. 🫶
Today’s trip to the beach came with an unexpected stunt performance… unfortunately by me 😂🌊
The inevitable happened again and I managed to have a “fall up” the stairs to the beach hut. Didn’t even know that was possible until today. After coming out of the sea my weaker leg had gone stiff, clipped the step, and suddenly I was launching myself upwards like a malfunctioning salmon 🫠
I landed straight on my arm and introduced my cheekbone to the edge of the step a little harder than planned. Safe to say my dignity took the biggest hit.
In all seriousness though, moments like this can be frustrating and, if I’m honest, a little scary too. MND has a way of reminding me very quickly that something as simple as a few steps can turn into chaos in seconds.
Massive thank you to the kind passers-by who rushed over to help me up and offered a first aid kit. And of course to my amazing wife and her friend for looking after me, keeping me calm, and somehow managing to make me laugh about it afterwards ❤️
I’m sore, slightly bruised, ego definitely damaged… but we go again tomorrow 👊
Thank you to everyone who joined the live yesterday. I really appreciate every single one of you jumping on, supporting, and asking questions. The response was genuinely positive and encouraging, and it’s given me the push to do more lives in the future.
I’ll keep you posted on when the next one will be. Until then, thank you for continuing to like, comment, subscribe, and support both my past and future videos. It really means a lot.
Two things happened this week that are definitely worth celebrating 🎉
I hit 12,000 followers on Instagram and, unlucky for some, 13,000 followers on TikTok 😅 When you’ve got MND, the whole “13 is unlucky” thing doesn’t really hit the same!
Thank you to everyone who follows me over there and continues to support me here on YouTube too. It genuinely means a lot. Let’s keep banging that drum and raising awareness.
Just a reminder as well I’m planning on going live tonight at 7:30pm GMT for around 45 minutes for a catch-up chat and to answer any questions you may have.
Hopefully I’ll see some of you tonight.
Have a lovely day and take care ❤️
PS thanks to AI generating these pictures. I wish I could still put my hands in the air like this.
I will be going live on here for around 45 minutes to catch up and answer any questions you might have. Join me 7:30pm GMT on Friday 22nd of May. See you then.
Who needs a sunflower lanyard when you’ve got a T-shirt like this 🌻
I’ve been a bit quiet on here recently, a mix of the Easter holidays and honestly just not knowing what to share at the moment. On top of that, as my hands and arms are getting weaker week by week, it’s becoming more of a challenge to find the strength and energy to create videos without being completely wiped out afterwards.
So for now, I’m taking a little step back and enjoying a short social media break.
To everyone who’s messaged to check in, thank you, it genuinely means a lot.
I’m okay and yes, this is my attempt of a thumbs up. See you soon 🧡
