Long-form videos are back from March 1st — and I’m starting strong with a day in the life POV with a twist as I kick off my fundraiser challenge, which is also one of my biggest goals this year: walking 100 miles this March for the Motor Neurone Disease Association to give something back for the support they’ve given me over the years.
Living with MND while juggling everyday life isn’t always easy, and sharing that life online brings its own challenges too. I’m constantly learning, adapting, and finding the path of least resistance so I can keep showing up, telling my story, and hopefully raising awareness along the way. It’s trial and error — but it’s worth it.
Thank you for sticking with me, supporting the journey, and being part of this community. It genuinely means more than you know.

I’m working on something fresh and exciting for the channel to hopefully make filming a little easier for me as my Motor Neurone Disease unfortunately progresses so there won’t be a long video this week.
Can I ask what types of videos you enjoy watching most on this channel?
As my MND slowly progresses, I need to think ahead about the future of the channel. I genuinely love creating longer, more in-depth videos because they let me share more of the detail and reality of my life.
That said, long-form videos are becoming more physically demanding to film and edit, and that’s something I have to be realistic about going forward.
Your feedback would really help me shape what comes next, so let me know what you enjoy most.
I just want to say a huge thank you to every single one of you for the continued support on my videos this year. Honestly, it means more than I can properly put into words 💙
I feel like I’m really starting to get into the swing of creating one video a week, each one focused on a specific topic around my MND and life in general. I hope you’ve been enjoying them as much as I’ve enjoyed making them.
I’m also thinking about adding something new… 👉 A Monday Q&A video, purely answering your questions.
The idea would be: • Mondays – Q&A videos where I answer questions you send in • Fridays – My usual videos where I chat, reflect, and talk about life with MND
For the Q&A, I’m torn on the best way to do it: • You could email questions in if you want to stay anonymous (which might make it easier to ask more freely), or • You could comment your questions directly on the Mondays video
So I’d love your thoughts 👇 • Do you think an extra weekly Q&A video is a good idea? • Would you prefer emailing questions or commenting on the video? • And is there anything you’d like to ask already?
Let me know in the comments – your input really does shape what I do here. Thanks again for being part of this journey ❤️
Hey there! Just a quick heads-up that I’ll be dropping a brand-new video this Sunday! I’m really excited to share it with you, so make sure you’re subscribed and have notifications on so you don’t miss it!
Hey everyone! I wanted to let you know about an important update to my membership tiers. To keep things simpler and more accessible for everyone, I’ll be removing the top-tier membership level of £5.49. Instead, I’ll have one streamlined membership tier at £2.99, which includes all the same perks that the top tier members enjoyed.
If you’re currently subscribed to the top tier, don’t worry! You’ll be refunded for any unused portion of your subscription. And you’re more than welcome to rejoin at the new, lower price of £2.99.
I really appreciate all of your support and understanding during this transition. If you have any questions or need any help, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
Thank you so much for being part of this community!
👀 You eagle-eyed lot may have noticed… I’ve reverted back to my very first (and original) username handle — Diagnosed Dad.
After my diagnosis, I went through a bit of an identity crisis. I thought stepping away from Diagnosed Dad might help me feel a little more separate from Motor Neurone Disease, and give me the freedom to post about more than just MND.
The funny thing is… I ended up posting about it anyway.
Over time, I’ve realised that Diagnosed Dad isn’t something that boxes me in — it’s something that reflects where I’m at, what I’m sharing, and why I started all of this in the first place. Reverting back just feels right. It ties in with my current content and also with a project I’ve got planned for next year that I’m really excited about.
So, same me. Same honesty. Same chaos. Just back to the name that started it all. 💙
Hey everyone! As my MND/ALS journey evolves, I’m finding it a bit tricky to keep up with long-form video production and editing. So I’m thinking of doing regular YouTube live streams which seems like the most streamlined and easiest option to maintain long-form content going forward. I can just hop on a live stream, and it’ll save automatically, allowing me to post it as long-form video for you to watch later. So, would you be interested in tuning into these regular live Q&As/Chats around my MND/ALS experiences, or do you prefer the short-form videos? Your feedback is really valuable and helps me create the best content for you all.
