Hi! My name is griffi and welcome to my channel! I am a goffins cockatoo and I just love to dance. My mommy and daddy are fosters for the Florida Parrot Rescue and loved me so much they couldn't let me go so I became a permanent part of the family! I have 3 doggie siblings and another bird sibling (but she's bossy and doesn't like it when I get attention) but I don't care as long as I get to dance! I had a pretty rough life before the rescue got me which is why I look the way I do but I still stay happy! Looks aren't everything and I know I dance better than most so I don't care! It's taken 2 years of building trust with this velocoraptor! But here she is on my shoulder. It takes a lot of trust and work for me personally to trust a parrot that close to my face. When she started "macaw mouthing" me I knew it was time to try.

Clyde got her nails and beak "did" at the vet yesterday. Needless to say today she is pouting at me and keeps turning her back to me 😆 🤣 Thank you Exotic Bird Hospital for giving her an unwanted spa day 😆 🤣

The health system in this country is so broken. Let me give you my personal example.
My spine surgery is coming up and the hospital called me for pre-register. They proceed to get all my my info and then say ok well your payment due today is 6k....... I was like wait what?
She said yes how yould you like to pay for that? I was like ummm.... I can't? Who has 6k in their bank account to just "pay" a copay?
She proceeded to tell me ok well we have payment plans. I was like ok so how much is the total bill?
Her answer 70k! I was like wait is that total for everything? NOPE the surgeon and the anesthesia people bill me separately.....
Ok wait a minute.... let me do this micky mouse math..... 1 F'n night in the hospital is 70 THOUSAND DOLLARS??????!!!!! AND THAT DOES NOT INCLUDE ANYTHING BUT JUST THE HOSPITAL? Yup....
what in the hell.... I just want to throw up with our health care system.
