Today, I fulfilled a journalist dream of mine for 10 years! I got to drive a VW Amarok aka a global Ford Ranger V6 diesel basically what we have in the U.S. without the diesel just significantly stronger in terms of payload 715 kg vs 915 kg vs the Ranger I currently own. In lbs, think 1,575 vs 2,094 give or take. I drove it empty and pretty full of 660 kg (1300 lbs) on the highway and on some seriously tight city streets! What did I think? Oh you are going to have to wait for that video!
