Hello People of the Internet!
I began making videos for t’internet in about 2006, when I was part of an online Art Journaling community, I then started Art Journey on YouTube in 2008.
In February 2018 I took a break from YouTube until October 2020. When, after an intensively busy time at work, I rediscovered adult colouring and the whole new colouring community on YouTube... so I dusted off my pens and pencils to try and help me unwind after a stressful day.
This channel is just me, sharing my artful journey...the journey includes the testing of art supplies, learning what art supplies work best in adult colouring books and letting those go that no longer serve me!
Adult Colouring for me is not about perfection or the pressure to be as good as someone else, we are all unique and so are the creations we make! For me it's all about the process; playing with pens and pencils, the relaxation it brings and sharing that with like-minded colourists.

It's July 31st! Which means tomorrow is August (already? how? 😅) and I said I'd be back in August...
And so...I will be...Yay! 🥳✨️🎊🎉
I recorded (finally!) my Acrylic Brush Marker comparison over a few days and didn't realise that the recordings would total over 2.5 hours 🫢🫣
I've therefore split the edit into two videos; one which will go live tomorrow and the other on Sunday (usual time for the early birds 😊)
Together, the two videos make a comprehensive review of all the markers, especially for adult colouring peeps ☺️

Just a quick message to say that I found an (almost edited) pen review video on my PC last week, so I have scheduled that to go up this weekend and I also recorded a haul video which will go live next weekend... so there is still a little bit of content coming out while I'm away.

There won't be a video first thing tomorrow morning (like there usually is on a Sunday) as a day of colouring with my family for my brothers birthday has turned into a Eurovision party this evening! 🇬🇧🇪🇺 🥳
As I usually record and/or edit my videos on a Saturday, I've not had the time today. There'll likely still be a video later on tomorrow, just not first thing as there usually is.

...and we're already away! Enjoyed our first sunrise seaview morning walk this morning.
I'm going to totally log out of youtube, so you won't see me answering comments for a while either. I'm not ignoring anyone, just having a break... screen free!

I bought a new colouring book! First one this year! Not really worth filming a haul for one book...so thought I'd show it here.
I bought Tiny Tales Volume 3 by RJ Hampson.
I stuck to my rule and watched a flipthrough (here on Russell's ( @rjhampson ) youtube channel:- https://youtu.be/pT2lufIHZJ4) and I really like this one! It's cute mini scenes rather than individual pictures (like the first two volumes were).
I bought while it's on its "just released" price before it jumps up to £10ish
