Been fighting a sinus infection since Christmas Eve, but I'm back, mostly recovered, and working on the next big vid! Taking a wee break from ninjas to talk about something also very near and dear to me. You dig giant robots? You dig giant KNIGHT robots? Surprisingly there's a LOT that my second favorite faction in 40k can teach about the dense chivalric history of knights from England to Germany, and I'm DYING to dig into it!

So for this month, diving into the world culture that inspired various 40k factions became the winner of the vote poll on Patreon. Which I'm actually happy about because from time to time I like to dive into cultures outside of JUST Japan these days. That being said though, the more I research, the more, more, MORE I'm finding that could be their own independent videos. So while it won't be the deciding hard factor of what I end up doing, I'd like to know what you all would like to see most of all in terms of cultural analysis topics!

Hey everyone! Gaijin Goombah here! Looks like next video is going to be a Warhammer 40K deep dive into a LOT of the different world cultures that inspire the design and vibe of the different factions. It's a LOT more than just Humans/Dwarves/Elves/Orcs in space! So if you don't know much of the game, I think you'll still get a kick out of what we find! For those of you that are into 40k, what are some things you'd want us to dig into? I've already got a LOT of notes on the White Scars space marines as well as the Imperial Knights, but there's SO much more!

My big chunky Gundam Wing retrospective should be ready for this weekend! Answering the questions of not just why it worked in the U.S., but why it comparatively barely made a DENT in Japan! I honestly think without Wing, it would have taken a much, MUCH longer time for Mecha in general to take off State-side and I'll tell you why this weekend!
