If you contact Aer Lingus (or any airline) on X, be VERY careful who replies.
Scammers are creating fake “customer care” accounts, replying to tweets, and then asking people to move to DM, share booking details or even payment info.
Before you reply or click any link:
✅ Check the handle is the OFFICIAL Aer Lingus account
✅ Go to the airline’s website and follow their social links
❌ Never share card details, passwords or security codes in DMs
Stay safe out there – and please share this so other travellers don’t get caught out.

I went inside Ireland’s so‑called “Coffin Ship” – the Jeanie Johnston – where hundreds of famine emigrants were packed into cramped, dark bunks.
Here’s the crazy part:
Historians say this ship completed multiple Atlantic crossings with 0 deaths.
