Anjel Chakma was not “Chinese”.
He was Indian.
A son, a brother, a student, a dreamer.
Targeted only because of how he looked, Anjel lost his life to racial hatred. His last words — “I am Indian” — should shake our conscience.
This is not just one incident.
This is a reminder that racism still exists within our own country.
🛑 Northeast India is India.
🛑 Looking different is not a crime.
🛑 Silence enables injustice.
May Anjel rest in peace, and may justice be served.
It’s time we speak up, learn, and stand together as ONE INDIA 🇮🇳
