Hello GIScience channel community! I am going to try something new with the channel.
Specifically, I will be doing a live stream of a talk on my work with teaching Syrian refugees GIS at the Za'atari refugee camp in Jordan via the RefuGIS Project. The live stream will be from 11:00-13:30 Eastern USA (or 16:00-18:30 GMT) time on Thursday 30 January 2020. If you want to learn about a case study of using GIS, tune in!

Happy New Year GIScience channel community! I am going to be building a new series of GIS videos for an online class I am teaching. I will post these videos on the GIScience channel to share with all of you. I wanted to get your feedback for building the best videos.



Specifically, when you watch a GIS (or other) educational video, do you like to see an image of person who is speaking? Or, do you prefer to just hear the audio of the person speaking? Or it doesn't matter ? Fill out the poll below and let me know what you think, thanks!
