Well, that direct deposit from Prime Video hit this morning! To actually get paid for advertising/covering a Tyler Perry project for the FIRST TIME in all of my years doing it is mind-blowing!

Trust and believe being a 'Prime Partner' for this film did NOT lead to me having any bias in my review(s). I truly enjoyed this film and meant what I said about Tyler needing to do MORE content like this one.

Fingers crossed that this is just the beginning. I'm hoping that in 2026 and beyond, I get more PAID opportunities like this from Netflix, BET, etc. to promote shows/films.

My hope is to get the ball rolling with members only content in 2026. I'd love to get back into the cast interview game. Probably where members can see it a few days early before everyone else in a Patreon-like fashion.

Out of curiosity:

Why do people assume that I live in Atlanta, New York, California, etc.?

It’s not uncommon for me to get asked if I live in this state or this city a few times every month.

Never have I ever been a ‘big city’ kind of person and I’ve only ever lived in Virginia.

I’ve never been to the West Coast 🌎

I’ve never been on a plane. Shoot, I’d probably have a panic attack the moment the plane takes off 🛫

I went to Atlanta ONCE when I was 11 to see my uncle. He told me that he saw Tyler Perry from a distance once so that’s kind of cool. He even saw James Brown once while he was driving.

I’m just out here in the country with deer, squirrels, rabbits and the occasional bear (my cousin killed a bear in the woods behind his house two weeks ago and he lives about 12 minutes from me) 🐻

Trust and believe that I’m just a regular guy in the rural area of Virginia with a YouTube channel and a dream…

*The dream of hitting 100 million views. After that, I have no idea what to ‘dream about’ eh, get married or something? I don’t know 🤷🏾‍♂️
