Alright Prospectors! I am happy to announce that so far the channel has an overall 170 thousand views! I thought it would take till the end of December 2026 to get to 500 subscribers but today on March 3rd 2026 it already has 477. Very nice. Thank you all for tuning in and viewing. It's a new channel just starting to spread its wings but I know how gold fever is and I just love search for riches. I firmly believe this channel can be entertaining to other prospecting hobbiests based off my own enthusiasm for these types of adventures. And wow gold is up to 5300 with silver hovering around 85. It's a great time to be into rockhounding and treasure searching. I look forward to posting many more episodes taking you on adventures through the North Nevada wilds looking for the good stuff. It's a Prospectors Life
I started out on this YouTube adventure on Sept 14th 2025 by filming one of my mineral explore excursions. I myself never really got into social media but I enjoyed watching mining and exploration videos on YouTube. I decided to try out being a content provider and I have to say it's an enjoyable experience. I'm sharing the passion that I found in the dirt, with you, my youtube friends. I am pleased you're along for the ride. I have been posting shorts and videos and according to the analytics of the channel from Feb 2nd to Feb 8th there were 33.7 thousand views and a little over 80 new subscribers!
So we're 5 months in on the adventure and over the past 5 months gold and silver prices have skyrocketed with interests in rare earth minerals peaking and we all just saw youtube TV sponsor the Super Bowl....Sufficed to say my show on youtube about mineral prospecting couldn't have been better timed. I didn't plan for that, so the coincidence is perfect.
I can't accomplish anything without you- the viewer. I want to take a moment to thank each and everyone of my valuable viewers and subscribers, like yourself. I'm gonna keep making videos as I live out the prospectors life and share the experience on youtube for you to enjoy. I'm in beautiful North Nevada with nothing but old mines and interesting country to explore - all filled with minerals, as the geology is certainly volcanic in nature around here. I was perusing over the list of subscribers and I noticed that some of the new viewers have been on youtube for 15 years. That's great because this new channel is getting users who have had years to decide what content they like and they're choosing to go on these outdoor adventures. We're chugging along building the channel. I'm happy to say the new program has garnered 159 subscribers at the time of this post. I appreciate all the support for the new show.
When I started I set a goal of 500 subscribers by the end of the year. Definitely on target for this, perhaps we can reach the 1000 mark. That's an important milestone because if your not familiar it's one of the base requirements for the production to start earning advertiser dollars.
I know we're a long way off but all journeys start with the first steps. I'm glad you're along for the adventure and maybe you'll be inspired to pick up the prospecting hobby too. Seems as if the price of gold and silver are reaching epic heights, so perhaps you can absorb a few tips and get out there yourself and look around! Gold and other minerals can be found just about anywhere. Even if you're in a city you can recycle electronics... Continue to enjoy friends.

OK crew, we started out on the adventure. I uploaded all the content saved on the phone. The memory was so full that one of the first videos took all last night to upload. There is about 5 shorts and 21 episodes to start us out.
