I reuploaded Marked Under the Chained Moon cause it was missing Chapter 35. I can't believe I had it up for so long and not knew that chapter 33 repeated. Sigh. It's fixed now. However, Chapter 35 began with a scene I had to edit out to comply with Youtube rules, so what's available is the second half of the chapter after the edit so you won't hear the title call.

There's a six-foot-five autumn deity with a literal pumpkin for a head living in my grandmother's mystical shop, and Lord Mabon is the most difficult roommate I've ever had.

I'm supposed to be running the place while Grandma's on a cruise: selling candles, tarot cards, and sage bundles to tourists. Simple. Except now I've got a deity who doesn't understand modern dating, a nonchalant cat named Pumpkin who's unimpressed by both of us, and zero clue how to explain the forests materializing in the stockroom.

Mabon is offended by inflatable yard decorations. He conjures thrones in inconvenient places. His idea of courtship involves dramatic pronouncements and way too much eye contact. He's teaching me magic I didn't know I had, which would be great if he weren't so insufferably superior about it.

Here's the catch: He leaves at midnight on Halloween. Back to whatever realm spawned him, and I'll never see him again.

I should be relieved. I've got a shop to run, a best friend who's threatened to fight him twice, and zero interest in divine relationship drama after my ex dumped me.

The problem is, somewhere between the courting disasters and the autumn magic, I started falling for the bastard.

And I'm running out of time to figure out if what we have is real or if I'm just the last bit of entertainment before he disappears forever.

I'm about 70% done with my latest novel. A monster romance that's very much on the dark and twisted side that the goth in me can't help but write. I'm also preparing a passion project that's been in my head since forever, a serial that will be exclusive to audio. I'm thinking more of an episodic audio drama than a novel. I'm currently testing new audio sites other than Eleven labs to see if I like the quality.

I have a feeling next year is going to be a lot of fun! I hope you all have a fun holiday and a happy new year! 🎊

Update: I caught the freaking flu and now I'm behind on all of my work. With a lot of rest and some meds I'm now back! Channel members and Pateron supporters can expect daily updates of Bred by the Alien Prince until the story is done. I will upload the full audiobook for everyone else sometime in December.

I want to squeeze in one more MM audio-exclusive horror short before the month is over. Unfortunately, I've had some emergencies to deal with (multiple emergency vet visits (Pets are fine now :D), Home Depot fumbling the delivery of my washer and dryer, emergency plumbing repairs, etc) that I'm starting this story later than I wanted to. As a result, I don't know if I can finish the entire story in time for the full Halloween release. So, as a compromise, I'm going to release this story chapter by chapter as I'm writing it. I hope to have the 1st and maybe even the 2nd chapter released for channel members and patrons today. Fingers crossed!
