IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Hi it’s been a little while. I haven’t forgotten about the channel or quit. This update is a tad bit long so get comfy.

I’ve actually been a little busy. Quite busy.

I think it’s almost about time I talk about the current state of Destiny 2 and where it’s going.

I’ve been working on a video about Destiny 2 since late March of last year (only a few months after Lightfall’s release).

Initially the video was set to release back in August of last year. But then a lot of things happened to both the game and at Bungie and then a lot more worse things KEPT happening to the game and company since then. So i pushed it back.

Instead of rushing the video out and dog pilling/click baiting a bunch of “Destiny 2 is Dead” or “Bungie is Dead” type of videos like a lot of other people have been doing the last year. I’ve been silently working on this video.

It is going to be quite different from the rest of the content on my channel. It will also be quite a long watch. I’ve spent a lot of time researching and preparing it.

It will also be my last Destiny video.

I’m no longer going to be making content surrounding Destiny/Bungie as a gaming company entirely going forward. That decision was made a while ago but best to say it now.

I’m going to be uploading more videos soon but they won’t be Destiny related or related to the upcoming video in any way.

I was planning to have this video out before The Final Shape in February. Then the delay happened and I got more time. Way more time.

Today I’m announcing an official timeline.

The video will be released in late May. This will be the only update I give on this until the video releases.

Since all the mods in the game are going to be reworked/redesigned (and some removed RIP Warmind Cells) in 40 days should I hold off on build videos until Lightfall releases to prioritize other videos (think weapon reviews, dungeon guides, trials, DPS tests) or would you still like to see build videos continue alongside the others?
