At the end of 2024 I decided to start a tradition for myself. Sum up the entire year in one word & expand on it. The word I chose to describe my life in 2024 is “Priorities”.
Going into 2024 I had set goals for myself. Fast forward to the end of 2024, I did not achieve any of them… Over the past couple weeks I have been reflecting on every possible reason I could think of as to why I didn’t achieve them. No matter how I wrote the equation in my head, I always came back with the same answer. Priorities. Although I didn’t achieve the specific goals I set for myself this year, I achieved so many other things that were NOT on the menu to be completed this year 😅. I wanted to hit 10k subscribers on YouTube, buy a new laptop/computer setup for editing, grow my short form content platforms, finish the turbo Honda & film tons of racing videos with it, build an entry level drift car, attempt to learn how to drift & possibly get a duramax. INSTEAD... I built fence on my property, landscaped my yard, built a bar style kitchen in my basement, finished the turbo Honda & broke it (only filmed 1 fun video with it), became a business owner & attended over 5 events selling product & promoting my brand @somethingcool.co throughout the summer, bought/built a ton of new equipment for my garage, started doing tires for people on the side to make some extra money & pay off the projects, played baseball all summer & hockey all winter, spent a lot of time with friends & even made some new ones. That’s all I can think of while writing this post, but I know I did way more than that 😅. The point is that not achieving my goals is nobody’s fault but my own. I chose to take on other projects & not prioritize my original goals. The constant dream of success eats me alive on the inside & I know I won’t stop until I get it. Everybody’s version of success is different, so I need to take a step back in 2025 & realize what it is that I truly enjoy, then prioritize that. “Do what you love & call it work, don’t work to do what you love”. That’s the mindset I’m going into 2025 with. I wish you all happiness & success in the new year ❤️

At the end of 2022 I set 1 goal for myself…hit 5K subscribers on Youtube in 2023. Little did I know I would accomplish so much more than that.
2023 was probably the most successful year of my life & I can honestly say that with a smile on my face. I bought my first house & shop, flew to the other side of the world to tour France & Italy (I can now say I’ve been to the top of the Eiffel Tower), started a website for SomethingCool co, officially registered my business, went to my first ever racing event (and got 1st place), beat the piss out of a 500hp Subaru that somehow has still not blown up (that’s an accomplishment on it’s own), ran back to back 11s passes in the Subaru AGAIN, Got 90% finished building a turbo Honda, finished the beater WRX build & sold it, financed my first car & paid it off in 6 months (then sold it because new cars are boring), bought a truck (for future plans) & bought another winter beater to fix up because apparently I can never have too many projects on the go. After all the stress & tight timelines I put myself under throughout the year, I always take New Years as a time to reflect. Was it worth it? Hell Yeah. Was it easy? Hell no. Does my family enjoy the fact that I run off 3 hours of sleep almost every night trying to pump out videos? Nope, they definitely do not…but I know they will always support me, just like the rest of you guys have this year.
Thank you guys so much for following me along this crazy journey. I have no idea where I’m gonna be a year from now, because a year ago I had no idea I would be here. Let’s just keep enjoying the process. :)

2022 was my first full year on YouTube & I can honestly say I had a f**kn blast! Even though this channel is seeing very slow & consistent growth, I feel like I learned so much & broke out of so many of my comfort zones this year.
I started my own brand called Something Cool with a promise to myself to do something cool every single day for the rest of my life. In 2023 I fully plan on launching a website so you guys can get your own hoodies & whatever else we decide to make!
In 2022 I feel like I achieved my childhood dream. I got my license as an automotive mechanic, officially built an 11 second 500hp Subaru, started my own brand, hit 1000 subscribers on YouTube, gained over 300k views on my channel & have never had more fun in my life.
I just wanted to thank you guys for all the support you show on this channel. Your comments keep me motivated to pump out as many videos as I can.
I’m not big on New Year’s resolutions, but I am big on setting goals & always trying to better myself over time.
So let’s set a goal to hit 5k subscribers in 2023. I think we can do it boys 🤙🏼
Happy New Year to all of you & I hope you achieve all your goals in 2023 🎉 #MyYearOnYoutube
