OK, Hulk Vs. Godzilla is finally out and originally I was gonna do a full video on this, but honestly, I think that video might have to wait for a while I might try making it part of some bigger video that I have planned later or maybe just wait until the end of the year so I can have a full perspective on it compared to the other ones, but just so you guys know here is my opinion on it:
Analysis segments were really fun Hulks while felt a little mismatched on where they put some of the story elements for Hulk and I don’t like how they brought up Hulk breaking the chains of the first firmament so quickly but overall really fun and I think really well researched, Godzilla’s analysis was really fun going over all the different types of Godzilla is out there going over some fun things like him playing basketball and being Dr Pepper sponsor it was just really fun, and how they discussed Godzilla Ultima as the true form of Godzilla was a pretty interesting idea. All things considered, although I don’t necessarily agree with that idea since there isn’t much to support that ultima is like the exact true state of every Godzilla we ever see with their only example trying to prove it was not being the best but for the most part they handled this analysis segment pretty well.
The fight itself is really cool it’s very different than how I thought it would be, and overall very few overall problems with the animation itself, and I even like how banner and Hulk were strategizing together in order to take out Godzilla and the fact that they did a little time skip in the death battle showcasing that this was a fight that lasted for a very long time, overall not that much to complain about when it came to the animation itself.
The conclusion though is where the episode kind of fall flat for me, not completely I still like the idea, and I like what they were trying to go for, they were trying to say that Hulk, while technically more powerful than Godzilla wouldn’t be able to kill Ultima directly, regardless of the power advantage so banner was the actual way to take them out using the equation, and them saying Bruce Banner won instead of Hulk winning it was actually pretty cool, problem is their own logic has some issues, like how they never really give Hulk a true way to kill Godzilla, based on the fact, the equation only works within reality to close the singular point, but it doesn’t actually kill Godzilla and power doesn’t directly defeat them by their own logic, even with their argument that they could win based on exposing Godzilla to a scenario where he loses in one of the black boxes they never really give a good case on why the equation plus power would work when both of them don’t really work to actually take him out in a reasonable way which they never really proved that you could, and I think they would’ve had a good case for Godzilla never being able to take Hulk out, but then they acknowledge Marvel Godzilla, and try to downplay him completely while also going against their own logic, as they said why Marvel Godzilla doesn’t help because he went up against characters that were weaker versions of the true characters, which is not true. Those are official 616 characters that modern Marvel Godzilla was fighting, and they also completely ignore the fact that by their own logic Ultima should’ve had the awareness and ability to interact around the marvel Multiverse and exist outside of all of that, and they never really give a case why that wouldn’t be the case because by their own logic, the Marvel Godzilla that we see is just an avatar of Ultima, and they even talk about how Godzilla could potentially spawn in the low place, but try to brush it off as it would be out of Ultimas reach despite the fact that by their own logic again all Godzilla is from Ultima so they would be able to interact with the below place, so at least to me they both somehow failed to really convince me that Hulk could permanently stop Godzilla, and somehow gave Godzilla a better wind condition by their own logic which they could’ve avoided if they just said that Ultima wasn’t the reason why all Godzilla’s exist, but since they did it kind of puts their logic into a weird position so personally for me, I don’t think they were able to convince me fully on their verdict.
Anyways, overall this episode, I would probably give a 8.5 out of 10 it would’ve been a higher if the conclusion was more consistent, but overall this episode is really important for me that it happened and I did overall enjoy it.
OK, my Bendy versus Cuphead video going over while I like the matchup might be delayed, maybe canceled it kind of depends on how this next death battle goes, I’m pretty sure I’m still gonna do it, but honestly, it’s definitely not gonna be done by the next death battle and personally there’s quite a few things I wanna look over for that video before I actually decide if I’m fully doing it, but for now I’ll let you decide which match up you guys wanna see between these two versus ideas that I wanna do eventually.
Ok this is going to be my next video although it won’t be out for a while. This is absolutely a match up I want to talk about, The Night Feeder (Primal) Vs. Death Angel (A Quiet Place) this is just a really cool idea, I don’t have that many similarities, but I like the idea of the creature who could take things out in one hit versus the character who takes everything it gets hit by, I want to see what you guys thought of this match up and if you have any ideas for any future matchups, you can comment them down below.
Kiryu Vs. Apex is finally done if you are intrested in hearing about it, I like this matchup a lot and I had it planned for sometime, but it’s out now, and I hope you at least find it somewhat interesting.
OK for my next video it will be Kiryu (Godzilla) Vs Apex (Pacfic Rim), two kaiju and mechanical hybrids, built to be the ultimate Kaiju slaying creatures, I honestly really like this match up and I wanted to do this video for a while and I thought since Hulk versus Godzilla was announced on death battle I might as well talk about this match up, so who do you think wins?.
Korosensei (Assassination Classroom) Vs Shinic (Sonic Tapes) is finally finished if you wanna watch it, this was an interesting one to research more than you might think for this type of matchup I’m kind of curious what you guys think of it.
OK, this might be weird, but I’m finally gonna do this match up. It sounds fun and I’m actually curious myself who wins, this will be my next video, but between these two world threatening experiments, who do you think comes out on top?, Korosensei (Assassination Classroom) Vs. Shinic (Sonic Tapes), I’m genuinely curious to see what people think of this matchup.
OK, while I feel like this is an obvious answer, but this is going to be my next video so who do you think wins?, SCP 096 (SCP Foundation) Vs. Enderman (Minecraft).
OK, unless I have some other idea, I believe these will probably be my next three videos, these are all matchups that I postponed on talking about for one reason or another, but I think it’s finally time for me to talk about them:
SCP-096 Vs Enderman: this is more of a re-analyzation of this match up, I did a video Can SCP-096 beat The End, I think some of the research there while mostly good could be analyzed a bit so I want to do a quick redo of this match up in particular since this is the matchup that I made that video for in the first place.
Koro Sensei Vs Shinic: this might be a weird one for most people, but this matchup is oddly kind of good, both being previously well known figures throughout their communities, (The Reaper and Sonic the hedgehog respectively), but due to seemingly experimentation from an evil group, after being captured, they were turns into monstrosities that threatened to destroy the world if not fully dealt with, I also like the parallels that one is a bad guy turned good and the other is a good guy turned bad, I just really wanna talk about this match up so I’m gonna try doing it.
Kiryu Vs Apex: this is probably the matchup I’ve wanted to do the longest on here, both of these creatures are some of my favorite Kaiju from their respective franchise with a decent bit of connections, I was originally gonna do this match up way sooner, but I decided to postpone it for when Hulk versus Godzilla got announced and well since that’s the next episode of death battle I thought might as well finally start talking about this matchup.
Don’t expect these videos anytime soon these will most likely be within the next week or two since unfortunately, I do not have my computer or microphone with me at this very moment and it might be a bit before I can start recording.
Not gonna lie this matchup might seem stupid but honestly it kinda has more things going for it than you might think, Koro Sensei (Assassination Classroom) Vs Shinic (Sonic Tapes), two previous notorious beings in there worlds (The Reaper and Sonic Respectively), and by a evil group were turned into monstrosities, who are almost impossible to kill and incredibly fast and threaten to destroy the world if they are not taken out within a timeframe, also I think it’s a interesting parrallel one is a bad guy turned good the other is a good turned bad, I genuinely might talk about this match on my channel mainly cause it’s just kinda cool and I want to see where this goes it might not be anytime soon but still.
