Welcome to Scrib Creative — a channel about drawing, character design, animation, illustration, and the wonderfully weird process of making art.

I’m Don Dixon, a professional animator, illustrator, director and visual artist with 25+ years of experience in the animation industry. Here I share original character designs, drawing timelapses, animation, experimental art, behind-the-scenes process, and the ideas that turn strange little shapes into strange little characters.

This isn’t an art tutorial channel where everything has to be perfect. It’s about experimenting, finding your own visual language, making weird shit, and seeing what happens when you follow an idea wherever it wants to go.

If you love drawing, animation, character design, visual storytelling, unusual art, or just watching an artist figure things out — subscribe and hang out.

New art and videos regularly.

Had a great time working on **Loo and Pixel**, an animated short from Honeycutt Inc.!

It's a story about a lonely video editor whose world changes when an unexpected visitor from another planet emerges from her computer. Sometimes the most unlikely friendships are exactly what we need.
