i wanted to do a reintroduction because it’s been ages and there’s quite a few new people here! my name is brett, i live in portland, OR and i’m a full time studio potter. i fell in love with pottery when i was 16, and this led me to study in college. eventually i left school because i was burnt out and couldn’t take out more student loans. this made me sort of resent ceramics and the education system and i took a break.

well, it didn’t take long for me to come back and take out even more loans for studio equipment and 15 years later here we are. it hasn’t been the smoothest road, but i feel incredibly lucky and grateful to be where i am. i really enjoy sharing my process and making videos. i hope it can provide some insight into my life, or at least be entertaining! thanks so much for being here and for all the support. ❤️😊
