one my favourite things about the LEGO friends franchise is the variety of outfits the characters wear and how since 2018 the core friends get given a style unique to them and I'm going to explain all of them
I'm just gonna explain the new friends
Aliya: a lot of her outfits are mainly skirts with very sensible school appropriate look on the shirt
Liann: her style is bright and colourful and she wears a variety of leg wear
Paisley: (despite others wearing them) paisleys main look is her long fraying trousers but she wears shorts and skirts sometimes
Olly: he wears very fashionable clothes with either grey jeans or blue baggy trousers
Nova: her looks show off here video game loving side and she tends to wear baggy jeans with turned up cuffs
Autumn: her style is mainly earth tones and she mainly wears shorts but wears the fraying trousers which doesn't seem like her style
Zac: he tends to wear the three primary colours (red yellow blue) and has an athletic look to him
Leo: he has very bright clothes but still has an athletic look
So Lego unexpectedly dropped another new episode and I’m here to review it. Spoiler alert as usual
Plot: the piano at the community centre breaks so Paisley, Zac and Olly work together to get a new one from Andrea’s mansion but they have to push across the entire city but succeed in the end
The goods I liked that we got a to see Paisley, Zac and Olly in main roles confirming that they are still main characters and it was nice to see Andrea again and the callback to brads LARP group (Live Action Role Play) from s1ep8 and Raj saying he built the cabinet from s1ep9
Bad The scenes with Aliya and Leo went nowhere in the story and Brad is still a bit annoying
Lego Friends the next chapter season three is upon us and I’m going to review every episode as they come out. Spoiler warning in case you haven’t seen the episode
Plot: Aliya needs someone to take over as chief editor of the school paper and she entrusts it to Liann who then gets up from Nova and they end up creating fake news stories in in order to keep everyone entertained but it backfires when everyone believes the stories until eventually Liann asks that Aliya be put back in the role of chief editor
The goods I’m really digging some of the new outfits to friends have and I did like how the episode was a commentary on sensational media and also like that we finally got to hear Luna a character who is appeared in the background since season one finally get a speaking role
The bad I don’t know if I like that they didn’t update the intro so that the characters could have their new outfits but I can probably understand if they have a good reason why and I didn’t like that not everyone was here but that’s usually a complaint that I tend to have the next chapter
Overall, I’d probably have to give this episode, maybe 3 out of 5 stars
