Chords Of Orion

I couldn't speak a single word that week. So instead of talking, I did the only thing that made any sense — I went down to the studio, opened the galactic portal, and leapt in. What drifted back out the other side was "Cold Nebula."

Yep. I added 1 pedal to my pedalboard and with it created a soundscape with a loop and 2 fabulous delays. It's the Strymon Timeline MX - this is how I got the sound!

This is what a 1970s EBow sounds like played through a SOMA Cosmos Drifting Memory Workstation.

I had an EBow like this one that was stolen in the early 80s. This replacement is the same vintage - almost 50 years old. It’s a piece of history and a reminder that I’m a piece of history too.

If you’ve ever lost a piece of gear that was tied to who you were, leave a comment. I’d love to hear about it.

It’s time for me to post a video about the current state of my studio. What would you like me to cover? What questions do you have for me? Thanks!

Nope. 5 EBows are not too many.
