Congratulations, team! It was really a very tough match with Iran's towering blocks and powerful offense. Iran could've written another ending for this match given how insanely powerful they are but there is still a missing link in their plays that made them unable to win a set. As Coach Piazza said, the key to their win is reception and Iran struggled to achieve that. On the other hand, Japan really worked well under pressure and they really perform well when cornered. They've been through a lot of full sets last VNL which developed their patience, mentality, and composure. They know when to strike, and when to deliver a fatal blow.
Yuki is really targeted and suffered from these blocks that really tested his mentality and composure. Most of his offensive plays were shutdown but he mase it a point to divert his energy into service, leadership, and floor defense while strategizing on ways to rake in points with his plays.
On the other hand, Ran performed well though he also was challenged by Iran's wall. But Ran being Rantastic himself, worked very well under pressure and made Iran fear his change up serves cause he's really serving aces. He's the embodiment of grace under pressure and he really became one of the team's pillar in both offense and defense.
Yuji showed why he's a monster on court when he's the only cannon that works in their offense in the earlier part of the game. He knows when to hype the team to keep the spirit up. Props to Fukatsu for leading the team's plays from VNL up to AVC. He's really a master tactician and keeps the team afloat even when it's crunch time. Kudos also to Kento, Taishi, Larry, Tomo, Ogawa, Keigo, Yudai, Aki, Shoma, Tatsu, Coach Tillie, and the staff for giving eveything they've got for the team. It was a great season. It's the best!💪👏👏👏🔥

Japan really proved that they are a powerhouse team defeating India in straight sets. They showed consistensy, intense composure, and brilliant plays. India showed they can build a wall to deflect YuYuRan's offenses but they could not held the fort for long as Japan slowly and meticulously destroyed their wall play by play. Props to Fukatsu for grinding in the aerial and floor defense while strategically orchestrating the team's offense. Congratulations, team! All the best on the semis tomorrow💪🔥

But knowing Japan, they went around the hurdle and devised strategies to manage Australia's blocks and still raking in points. I am truly amazed with Japan's composure and mentality as they really know what to do in situations like this (they've been through lots of this and more). Their adaptability is god-tier making Australia bow on the 2nd set. But the latter finally found their rhythm on the 3rd set but it's too late as Japan completely dominated the match. 🔥JAPAN' S 2ND WIN🔥 Japan defeats Bahrain in straight sets and booked their ticket to Quarterfinals. The 1st and 2nd set were easy wins for the team but Bahrain found their fire and grit during the 3rd set to level with Japan. They displayed their aggressiveness and firepower but Japan played smart and strategically extinguished the fire that build in Bahrain's play beating them before it gets really dangerous.
