A big, happy 10th Anniversary to this amazing little show known as My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The past decade has certainly been a wild ride, and it was amazing having this show and its music with me every step of the way.

Thank you to the entire crew of the show for giving us this fantastic experience, and may our friendship and magic continue to grow over the years.

Well, this is it. The end of an era.


I've uploaded the final 12 tracks of score from Friendship is Magic. It's been quite the wild and fun ride.


I just wanted to thank every single one of you for your support over the years. This has consumed the last 7 years of my life, and thanks to seeing so many others discover and enjoy this series' wonderful music and score, it has most certainly been worth it.


I've received a ton of comments over the past weekend, and just want to again say they mean the world to me.


I also want to thank those who came before me, who helped introduce me to this series' music from the first two seasons. The work of CaptainComedy, ‪@infinitydash‬ ‪@MrNewbyNewb‬ ‪@Senn555‬ all really got me into this series' music, and was a godsend in my early years of the fandom, trying to find all this wonderful music for my library. Thank you for all of your work in those early years, and for your kindness in the years following. I wouldn't be here doing this without you all.


A final thank you to William Anderson, Kelly Snow, Christopher Gee, Daniel Ingram, Caleb Chan, Steffan Andrews, Trevor Hoffman, and the countless other individuals who have contributed to this series' iconic music for the past 9 years. It has certainly been among the best on television, and the effort you put in has not gone unnoticed.




This won't be the final uploads from me, however. I still need to work on getting the score from the first two Equestria Girls specials up. And if Hasbro ever gets around to releasing the final two specials, and/or "Rainbow Roadtrip" on iTunes or Netflix, you can bet I'll be uploading that stuff here as well!


But for now, one final time, thank you for listening. It has truly been a magical experience.

Did you notice the subtle drops of the awesome "Magic of Friendship" motif in the MLP season premiere "The Beginning of the End?"


This motif was first introduced in the Season 3 episode "Magic Duel" in the track of the same name, and was used again that season for Discord's reformation in "Keep Calm and Flutter On." The cue was then used extensively to represent friendship and its magic throughout Season 4, and continued to make appearances in subsequent seasons.


Hearing it here again in this episode, given the context, is extremely fitting, and I'm glad William Anderson continues to reutilize these motifs in fitting ways.


You can hear it both in the "Distraction" part of "Greatest Fears / Distraction / Destruction," and at the beginning of "Escape! / Under Sombra's Spell."

Well, it seemed like the ride would never end, but here we are: the final season premiere of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Nine seasons is certainly nothing to scoff about!


And wow, did they pull out all the stops for the opener. I've just finished uploading all 20 tracks of awesome score from the episodes. It totals to about 37 minutes, which is the longest amount of score I've ripped from any episode, two-parter, or special from the show...

Have you heard?? The My Little Pony: The Movie score by Daniel Ingram is receiving an OFFICIAL digital release!!

About an hour of score from the movie, including a special bonus track of the original opening score which was replaced by "Ponies Got the Beat," is included. It's already live on iTunes in many countries, and will be released in the US around midnight tonight. It should also be available on Spotify and probably other digital stores, tomorrow as well.

If you are able to, please show Hasbro and Daniel your thanks and support for releasing this by purchasing it or streaming it from an official source. It's not something they had to do, nor something I ever thought they would, so a HUGE thank you to them for taking the time, effort, and money to compile an official version.
