I sometime leave my camera at home by mistake... and it happened on Trout Opening Day for NJ! Bummer yall can't see what I was doing.
But to sum it up. I was learning how to read water and seeing where trout minnow lures will work in a stream setting. I fished it in different spots and was able to nail a good size trout! I landed both rainbows and browns.
To my surprise... i dropped at least 4, even though I was using a Glass rod this time! The Rapala Count Down Elite! Yes, i finally took it out! I think single hooks barbless will always have a risk of fish dropping. But it was fun fishing the minnows. but not so fun fishing the jigs as I found it ineffective detecting strikes and setting hooks at the right time.

23% of all picked the KastKing Kestrel BFS combo... For what reason? I have no idea why! For me.. It's a cheap free combo I did a review on and have given it to my 6 year old to learn how to cast and fish. Yes he can cast it due to how strong the brakes. It's spooled with their 13x braid which is not even properly rated to 8lb fluoro leader. If he breaks it.. O well! Rod was a generic flex that is somewhat leaning towards bass tapered... So it is an all rounder. But saying it's UL is pushing it... At best it's a L power rod.
