After almost 4 years of not really being in my garden since my husband passed away, I have been re-inspired to get back out there and make some big changes! What a glorious morning here in the UK!
The Weigela is all frothy pinkness, the first Iris sibirica is opened up and the Sweet Woodruff is so simply beautiful it makes me sigh with contentment!

Happy New Year everyone.
It's been a milder day here and the snow has disappeared. In the garden the signs of spring are all around!
Here are winter aconites, witch hazel 'Diana ', and clematis cirrohsa 'Jingle Bells' scrambling through wintersweet.
A few more mild and dry days and I'll be ready for some lovely garden work
