For those that have reached out and asked about our daughter Brielyn, we are still working on finding a diagnosis. She has lost her ability to walk, speak clearly, and her vision is being affected. She has lost all feeling from her knees down and most sensation in her arms. We made our way to the Riley Childrens Hospital two weeks ago when she could no longer swallow. We are currently at Riley Hospital and are starting our third week here. On Monday, the team at Riley Childrens Hospital will look at getting our 11-year-old sweet girl transferred to Mayo Clinic. Our hearts are heavy as we walk through this journey missing our girl and hoping to find a diagnosis and get her back. My sister has been updating her story (link below), and please feel free to share as you see fit. We are currently praying that Mayo will accept my daughter's case and see her sooner than later. In September of this year, my daughter began suffering from a disease we couldn't figure out. We went to so many specialists and had so many tests done. She began losing her ability to walk, talk, and see. We have a long road to recovery, but she is a fighter, even at 11 years old. We recently got aligned with a pediatric neurologist who (we are hopeful) will help us get our girl back and fully functioning. I appreciate all the messages and prayers that you’ve sent our family. Your words of encouragement and stories of navigating similar challenges have been so helpful and life giving to our hearts!

Thank you for all the well wishes for our girl. We spent 4 days last week in Riley Childrens Hospital and many test were run to discover the cause of her pain. At this point we are dealing with a chronic nerve pain diagnosis which will involve lots of PT, OT, and cognitive therapy to help her work through this chronic nerve pain. It’s a lot for an 11yr old to process. You never know what parenthood will bring you but still so thankful that our girl is here and though the journey to health may be long we are in it together.
You may see videos popping up still - I had several prerecorded and have spaced them out to the years end. I hope to come back in a few months once my girl is in a healthy place.

Good Morning Friends- I apologize for my lack of commenting and returning messages here and on IG - this is due to my daughter becoming very ill slowly over the past few weeks. We’ve finally been able to get her to a specialist and hope we can narrow down the problem. With this being said I will be away from media platforms (minus prescheduled videos) while we try to uncover what is going on with my sweet girl.
I know we are board game people here but I also know this is one of the kindest most loving group of people I’ve come across! Thank you in advance for your prayers!
