Happy Valentine's Day!
I trust you've been treated to breakfast in bed, a carpet of red roses and champagne instead of elevenses. Me, I'm still going through the sack of cards the postman left at my door at first light. I doubt I'll have time to do any work today given I must read all the poems my admirers have written for me.
As well as Valentine's week - who doesn't celebrate it as a week? - It's half-term here in the Flying Reporter household, so naturally we're juggling work and keeping 'Bertie' happy. I'm meant to be taking him somewhere on Thursday. I do need to go to the council tip and clear out my garage, but that may not be quite the half term activity he had been hoping for!
A quick apology to Supporters' Club members - We have had a bit of sickness in the house which has put the editing schedule back a couple of weeks, so you're not getting your episodes in advance of general release as usual. I am working hard to juggle the workload to try and get ahead again so please bear with me.
One of my new features that I launched in the new year was The Flying Reporter Product Review, in association with Pooley's Flight Equipment. Let me know what you think of the reviews. Are they informative, objective and importantly of interest? A few weeks back I reviewed the new Lightspeed Delta Zulu Headset, this week I'm looking at The Pooley's Flight Guide series and in the next video I'll be flying with the Garmin D2 Mach 1 aviation smartwatch. I'm also soon to be reviewing the various aeroplane fuel testers that are on the market along with aeroplane cleaning products.
So, come on a flight with me and my friend John as we look at the Flight Guide together and I rib him about his inability to follow instructions from a marshaller! (Sorry not sorry John)
