Whooohooo! There were some last minute changes to the April lineup for CGV's Signature-K series highlighting defining Korean films that paved the way for the industry we know and love today. Both "Il Mare" (2000) with Jun Ji-hyun & Lee Jung-jae as well as "City of the Rising Sun" (1999) with Lee Jung-jae & Jung Woo-sung have been added to the April lineup!
What this could mean for future blu-ray releases has me all sorts of ecstatic!
I don't know where "Wanee & Junah" or "I Wish I Had a Wife" went though...either way...it's going to be a good April!

Just got back from watching JSA 4K remastering in theaters. What an experience! It looked spectacular too.
I also wanted to correct my statement from the Taegukgi 4K remastering video. I speculated about the 4K master for JSA being something we haven't seen yet. But in fact, it looks like the blu-ray put out by both NOVAMEDIA and ARROW VIDEO feature 1080p presentations sourced from the same 4K master that I saw today in theaters. So rest assured if you bought it recently, it's still the best image until we get a legit UHD disc with Dolby Vision or HDR.
