I had to put a stop to it.
From 2014,
2015,
2016,
2017
I was the guy who complained internally
Externally
About the same problems every year.
Until I realized, I became one of them.
That person who for years,
Could only live with and talk about
the same limitations.
Was it not up to me to change it?
That was when I turned to Closing.
Not as a part time gig
or a mindless shortcut
For my martial arts coaching business
Communication and sales skills
Livelihood
I needed to immerse in this one skill.
So 2018 became the turning point.
At 29, it was ALL IN for me.

Daily roleplays

There are two types of closers.
The first has a “wait and see” mentality.
Consciously, they think it’s a way to be cautious.
Subconsciously?
It’s a defense mechanism
“At least if I didn’t REALLY try…
…I didn’t really fail.”
And that one word: “try”.
Keeps them safely circling this space for years.
They buy everything; implement nothing.
The root mentality…
I need to SEE SOMETHING
Before I believe in myself.
The second type is ALL IN.
You don’t have to nudge them for assignments.
You don’t have to chase them for KPIs.
You don’t have to keep giving campfire pep talks.
All their lives, they’re winners.
Not just in remote sales…
But throw them in any environment?
They’ll make it work.
I BELIEVE in myself
That’s why I’ll make it work.
Is their core mentality.
I was kind of in between these two types.
I had the drive of the latter…
Yet the doubts of the former.
But all that doubt went away,
When I crossed that first milestone.

Feeling blocked?
