Denys Chufarin - GGPoker.ua Ambassador, Streamer, and Content Creator from Ukraine šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡¦

Hey, I'm Denys Chufarin, a professional poker player with over 15 years of experience, and for the past 4 years, I’ve been sharing my journey through streaming and content creation. As an ambassador for GGPoker.ua, I'm deeply involved in the poker community, representing one of the world's largest poker brands.

My favorite game? Short Deck, also known as 6+, where the action never stops, and every hand is an adrenaline rush. I love diving into the unique strategies and wild dynamics that make this game so exciting. Whether I’m crushing high-stakes tables or breaking down hands on stream, I’m always looking for new ways to bring the thrill of poker to my audience.

Join me as I navigate the world of Short Deck, share insights, and connect with poker enthusiasts from all over. Let’s take on the tables together! šŸƒšŸ”„

How did I win this?

A lot of people are asking what I did, what strategy I used, how I prepared.

The truth is simple
I got lucky.

Most players at that final table and in the whole event are absolute killers with massive experience. I’m the new guy here.

Here’s my entire High Roller sample so far:
1500+ buy-ins
about 10K hands total
and a huge EV winrate of 14 EVbb

What does that mean?
It means I ran hot. I got good cards. People folded to my bluffs. Variance decided to be kind to me.

But here’s what I did:

I fell in love with poker again.

For the last months I barely skipped a single day without studying. Solvers, sizing logic, ranges, lines, all of it. I just dove into the game like it’s a new universe.

And one more thing made a huge difference:
2 hours of deep ICM work with a Ukrainian coach.
He changed how I feel ranges on short stacks. That’s why you saw so many tight folds in spots with multiple short stacks…
and so much aggression when I was the one applying pressure.

I’m extremely grateful to everyone who helped me and everyone who supported me along the way.

Love what you do.
Enjoy the process.
The results come on their own.

Because winning is not the result
Winning is the process.

More than 24 hours later
and I’m still not over it.

I won the GGMillions $10,300.

Super tough field.
Final table was a war.

At one point I had 2.5 big blinds.
Not ā€œshort stack strategyā€.
Not ā€œICM pressureā€.
2.5 BB and a dream.

And somehow… it turned into a win.

No motivational speech.
No deep message.

Just this:

Don’t leave the table until the last chip is gone.

Because sometimes that last chip becomes all of them.

I planned to stream today, but I decided to take a short break. Even superheroes need some rest sometimes šŸ˜…

Yesterday was truly special. My friend and I reached the High Roller heads up, the same friend I used to study Short Deck with for years. It honestly felt surreal. We both started with the same fundamentals, even though our styles turned out completely different, and somehow we both carried that knowledge into tournament poker.

We ended up chopping heads up. Congrats to my friend, to me, and to everyone who keeps working on their game every single day. Consistency really pays off. Keep pushing, and that wall will eventually move.

You can see the full final table lineup in the photo, and the full replay is already on my other channel šŸ‘‡https://youtu.be/Ncnj_6XQm88

I’ve seen people asking me to share my session results, but honestly, that’s super hard to do šŸ˜…
First, I don’t track my sessions results at all - it drains energy and focus.
Second, after a long stream, all I want is to lie down with a dark eye mask and earplugs 😓

If you’re really curious about my tournament results, you can check them out here:

Finally made it to the final table of my favorite tournament yesterday!
It’s been a wild ride lately. Ups, downs, and everything in between. But that green color finally showed up in my challenge tracker again. That moment when all the work, intuition, knowledge, and a bit of luck finally come together.

Poker is a strange mix of patience and chaos. Sometimes weeks go by without results, and then suddenly everything clicks. Yesterday felt like one of those rare moments.

I’ll spend Thanksgiving with my family, then get back to work cutting some highlights for you all.
Thanks for being part of this journey. It’s only just beginning.

Been digging through my database since I got back from Europe, and I noticed something funny — my EV graph looks like I’ve been printing money… but my balance says otherwise šŸ˜…

Turns out, I’ve been running +7 EV bb/100 over 70K hands, and even +11 EV bb/100 on high stakes, yet the actual result is –$10K.
Yeah, poker has that kind of sense of humor.

It’s a great reminder that winrate isn’t cash flow, and EV doesn’t pay the bills — at least not right away. Sometimes you can play your absolute best, crush the math, and still walk away down. That’s variance — the most loyal and cruel partner every grinder has.

Still, I’ll take the EV all day. The money always catches up eventually… or so they say šŸ˜

Finished WSOP Online roughly break-even. Plenty of close calls, including top 100 in the Main. But sometimes the path isn’t online - it’s ā€œofflineā€. The moment I set my mind on winning a bracelet in the Bahamas, I went $150 → $2.5K → $30K package. That’s what mindset can do… or maybe it’s just luck smiling. Bahamas trip #3 and this time it’s for the bracelet. Saloos!

šŸ“ˆ Finally figured out how to get my results on Sharkscope.
Export from PokerCraft, upload manually — that’s it. Took me way too long to realize it’s this simple.

Anyway — the snapshot:
🧮 1,135 tournaments over two months.
$216 average buy-in.
Around +50K in results.
Solid outcome, but let’s be honest — it could’ve swung in any direction. That’s just how variance rolls.

What actually matters:
This was the first time I went all-in on improving — put in serious volume, mixed in some cash games, and spent over 150 hours digging through theory.
It changed a lot. Confidence grew, and ABI followed.
By May, ABI hit $351. Now it’s well over $500.

The GG Series is winding down, and WSOP is coming fast.
šŸŽ‰ I’ll jump into Vegas mode on June 20 — the day after my daughter’s birthday.
And yeah… still dreaming of the day pocket jacks stop betraying me. šŸ˜…
