Hey, it’s Claire!

I’ve mentioned before that some of my cats have kidney problems - most notably, TT, who’s still recovering from stage 2 kidney disease to this day. Since 2019, when TT was diagnosed with kidney disease, I’ve done and tried everything in my power to help her get better. I visited so many animal clinics, listened to advice from so many veterinarians, and fed TT all kinds of cat food and medicine for kidney disease in the hopes that she’d get better.

It killed me inside to see my darling TT in so much pain and suffering. Her coat lost its luster, her energy levels dropped, and she became a lot more irritable and stressed due to all the hospital differences and changes in her diet. At the same time, I began worrying about my other cats - what if they, like TT, also developed kidney disease and had to experience the same pain? After all, LuLu’s creatinine levels were starting to get a bit high, too. And what about other cats around the world, both with kidney disease and without?

Though my original goal had been to find a way to help TT get better, it gradually evolved into a determination to spare all cats around the world from kidney disease. I wanted to relieve and reduce the pain of cats with kidney disease, and keep cats without kidney disease from ever developing it in the first place. And I got that opportunity after meeting Japan’s Dr. Toru Miyazaki.

Dr. Toru Miyazaki was the first person in the world to discover the blood protein known as AIM. More information about AIM can be found in both my videos on the ‪@claire_luvcat‬ channel and the website for Dr. Toru’s Institute for AIM Medicine (IAM), but the gist is that AIM helps keep our kidneys clean. While AIM works properly in human, most cats are born with a hereditary disorder that prevents the AIM from functioning. It’s still there, mind you! It just can’t work properly!

I reached out to Dr. Toru and even made several trips to Japan to see him, and through our correspondence and with Dr. Toru’s expert advice, we were able to create a supplement based on the mechanism of the AIM protein that helped TT slowly but surely recover from her kidney disease. Her appetite’s back, and she’s become much, much more active! Whenever I see TT in her newly invigorated state, it’s like a dream come true for me.

As you know, General joined our family this year. When General first arrived, he was on the verge of death, and even veterinarians gave him less than a week to live. Like TT, he had kidney disease, but his condition was even more critical, since he was over twice her age (he’s 18!) and had stage 4 kidney disease (stage 5 is considered end stage kidney disease). Yet, with help from our AIM supplements and stem cell therapy sessions at the animal clinic, General’s not only alive today, but he’s thriving! The once-blind and lethargic old-timer is now assertive and has a hunger for both food and a good life!

My goal to treat and prevent kidney disease in cats holds true even now. In fact, I’d say that with the success we’ve seen in TT and General’s cases, my convictions are stronger than ever. The AIM supplements I used to treat TT and General have been refined and produced for cats around the world with Dr. Toru’s blessing, and we’re currently developing other supplements and even cat treats aimed at keeping your cat’s kidneys healthy.

You can learn more about our Dr. Toru Protocol AIM supplements or read a more detailed report on how both TT and General began their journey to recovery through our Greycoat Research website!

Here’s to a happier and healthier future for cats around the world!

Hey guys, it’s Claire!

Viewers who’ve been following my ‪@claire_luvcat‬ channel should already know this, but my cats and I successfully moved into our new home last month! And so much has changed that I’m still struggling to get used to everything myself!

My precious baby DD missed our old place a lot! For the first few days, he kept pining for his garden with all the plants and trees and bugs that he loved! Still, I think it’s dawning on him that this is our new home now, and he’s starting to accept it. That said, DD doesn’t need to worry, because I’m working on a small indoor garden for him and the others!

A lot of things got upturned with the move, and the hierarchy standings were one of them! While TT (the Queen) and DD (the Biggest of Bois) are still reigning at the top, LuLu and General have managed to move up the ranks, and are now forces to be reckoned with. Especially General, as DoDo can attest to, because the old veteran has taken to hunting the young whippersnapper in his free time to teach him some manners!

Also, LuLu and LaLa are nap time buddies now! I got some new chairs during the move, and both LuLu and LaLa have made themselves home on them! Luckily, I have enough chairs for the both of them, so they don’t need to fight over their napping spots! Don’t they look so cute together?

That’s all for recent events in our house! I’ll keep you guys updated on our efforts to settle in! Talk to you guys later!

You guys are always leaving so many great comments, so I wanted to showcase some from this month that I personally liked! I’ve paired them with some adorable pictures drawn by a talented illustrator!

1: Isn’t ChuChu so cute as a ninja? (Psst, ChuChu in Wonderland is available on Amazon as an eBook!)
2. Good job on your test! LaLa’s very proud of you (and herself)!
3. I can’t believe LuLu would do this to me… (Actually, I can...)
4. There were so many great suggestions on what kind of pastry DD was, but this one made me laugh the most!

Hey guys, I have an announcement to make!

Those of you who’ve been watching my videos on the ‪@claire_luvcat‬ channel will already know this, but we’re going to be moving out of our current place very soon!

My cats and I have made so many great memories here, both in the garden that my cats love so much and the hallway that’s been featured in so many of our challenges! I’ll miss them both so much, and I’m sure my cats will, too!

Unfortunately, our new home won’t have a hallway anymore. So I’m filming one last challenge in my old place before our big move! It'll be uploaded as in the Shorts tab in the future!

That being said, I’m not giving up on our challenges! Plenty of challenges took place outside the hallway, after all! Heck, all the new challenges I’ve been uploading as Shorts all took place outside the hallway! All I need is a little bit of creativity!

I’ll do my best to keep making challenges with the classic Kittisaurus charm in the future for you to enjoy! Please look forward to them!
