I enjoy survivor games. I love the feeling of being dropped onto a map and having to survive on my own against whatever obstacles are in my way. I enjoy figuring out games and then working out how to make them more challenging and fun.

I've always been fascinated with dinosaurs, but I'm not an expert on them; I've just always enjoyed looking at them and think they're amazing. This is why Ark Survival Ascended is my main game; I get to survive with dinosaurs, and it's so much fun.

I'm not going to guarantee I will always stick to one game; there are many games I have not played, but I hope with a growing community here, I can work on adding a lot more content to what is already a lot of content on my channel, so take a look at my playlists. There is a variety of playlists.

I focus on television-style content with different seasons; much like a reality show, you're watching my gaming journey.

hiya, folks, I hope you're having a better year than me.

I'm still working on my novel and trying to finish it, then submit it to Steam by the 15th of February. There is a visual novel sale between 3rd and 10th March, which would be a perfect time to release a new visual novel. Sadly, I have to put my YouTube on hiatus until I finish this novel, I'm still hoping to get shorts done for you, but it's looking a bit dicey on that.

It's looking dicey because I have been having PC issues for the last month, long story short, my graphics card is going on me. My PC started crashing when starting up a 3d program (DAZ), and after I restarted the PC, my graphics card was disabled. It happened numerous times, and I was also having issues with my ethernet as well. I "reset my PC/reformat", and it fixed the program crashing. I updated the ethernet and seemed to fix internet connection issues, but the ethernet issues have returned and I've had to restart the PC every day at least once.

Today, I woke up to find my PC was sitting on login, and from what I can tell, the 3d program I left running overnight crashed, but not 100% sure. Also, I was sitting watching a video today on YouTube, monitor froze and shut down. my PC was still on, so yeah, pretty sure my graphics card is on its way out. Not really a surprise, as I put it through a lot.

my YouTube won't take the next step without me updating my graphics card anyway, so it's something I need to do, but right now, I have no money to do so.

My hope is for the graphics card to last long enough for me to finish my visual novel (I'm really close), and then finish recording Mixed Ark season 1 (I have two boss fights recorded so far). As for replacing the graphics cards, I'm looking into options, but they're not guaranteed.

I posted this instead of doing a Notey News, as you may imagine, I don't feel like being on camera for updating y'all on this.

hiya folks, hope you're doing well

A quick message to say that starting from tomorrow the release of shorts will be moving back to 4pm UK time. We moved it to 8PM quite a while ago as we were testing to see how it would do, that test is complete and the result has come back 4PM release time is best. :)

Hey Folks, hope you're doing well.

Starting today and in 5 hours, we have a series of 5 shorts that begins.

This is something I'm trying as I would like to find ways to include longer tasks and things that I do in multiple episodes.

I figure I either have to condense the whole thing down into one short or edit it into a series of shorts.

We're trying a series of shorts and we have two series coming, we have a series of 5 shorts that last 10 days first, then a series of 2 shorts that last 4 days after that.

hope y'all enjoy them and remember to like the videos you watch, it really helps me out a lot.

Out of these options, what game do you currently enjoy watching others play?

If the game you currently enjoy watching the most isn't listed, feel free to leave a comment.

I'm curious about what game subscribers currently enjoy watching.

hiya folks

Starting in 10 minutes is a series of 3 videos within Mixed Ark season 1 that many will enjoy. This is my first visit to the Wyvern Trench in Mixed Ark and we try to clear the Wyvern trench by killing the Wyverns with an Argentavis.

I had a tonne of fun recording these and I think you'll enjoy Episodes 30-32.

At the weekend, I got the month of June fully scheduled with Mixed Ark episodes (long form), and on Sunday I got July fully scheduled with Shorts. Usually, I would've started recording July's long-form content by now but haven't as of yet.

The main reason for posting this community post is to apologize for the poor video quality in episodes. This has probably been going on for a while, I had OBS set to rescale down from 1920x1080 to 1280x720, no idea why it was set to this but I had noticed some quality issues, more so on my webcam but I thought it was related to the new cam I had got.

Turns out for some strange reason, I was rescaling down. I noticed the rescale setting when trying to do 4k videos. I thought I had just changed it as I had been messing around with OBS for a while by this point.

When I recorded Mixed Ark episode 29(released 16th June), I noticed a big quality improvement, especially in my webcam, that is when I realized I had been downscaling quality for ages.

So mad at myself for this but mistakes happen, we move on.

SHORTS

I've noticed some shorts haven't landed as well with people as I would like, I'm still learning how to do shorts. I'm someone who experiments as the go, I have been trying different things that will allow me to provide 15 quality shorts a month.

Sometimes things aren't going to work, like the short series I'm currently trying with the fast-moving Plesiosaur. Although it's still early days and only been 1 of 3 shorts released so far.

I've noticed since I've started doing the highlight package from the previous episode at the start of videos. I've been starting to see how to condense moments in games down to under a minute, it takes more editing time on my part but, it appears like it's worth the time. These shorts will start to appear in July's releases.

I still want to try a "short series", basically a series of shorts over a certain amount of days. An example would be the beginning of July, there are going be 5 shorts over 10 days and it's all based on one very comical taming attempt on my part.

It's something I want to try and I'll keep trying everything and all things to make consistent short content.

Remember to check out my long-form content in Mixed Ark, the content in shorts comes from that.

thanks for subscribing and I hope you're doing well.

Just a quick thing

I made a mistake with scheduling and had a Mixed Ark and a short schedule on the same day (25th May).

This meant we had shorts released on the 25th and 26th. Like to confirm this was a mistake and no, I'm not starting to release a short every day.

Although I wish I had the time to release a short every day, sadly I don't.

hiya Folks

Just to let you all know starting with Episode 19 of Mixed Ark, we will do something different.

Instead of a highlight at the start of the video, we will have a small highlight package of what happened in the previous episode.

I even have a "Previously On" soundbite now and I felt a bit foolish recording it, I love how serious I sound in it, it makes me laugh and it fits with the television season theme we have.

The great thing about doing this now is it allows people to jump into seasons at any episode, as you'll be caught up at the start of the new episode on what happened previously. It's essentially a short at the start of the episode, a little under a 1-minute wrap-up of the previous episode.

Hope you like it and get a kick out of how serious I sound. :D

hiya all, hope you're all doing well.

first off, thanks to y'all for subscribing to my little corner of YouTube, it is much appreciated.

Now sadly for some bad news.

I honestly can't remember what episode of the Hunted season 1 I noticed this in, but I've started to notice I'm lagging a lot more than I usually do. This starts in upcoming episodes and I have tried everything I can think off to fix it, but sadly, anytime I play Ark Survival Evolved and have OBS studio recording at the same time, I've started to lag more than usual.

It might just be the Hunted mod I'm playing, as I've never lagged this much playing normal Ark. However, I never noticed any issues when watching other content creators playing this mod, granted, there PC's are probably way better than what I have.

The lagging does effect my mood when recording and its very frustrating to me, so wanted to give you a heads up.

I would love to fix this but everything I tried, just isn't working. I updated OBS studio, dialed the settings back in my OBS recordings, lowered the settings in Ark. I have run out of options to fix this.

I have had issues with lag on the center map before, that was due to the crazy amount of creatures that spawn into a cave, its the only map where I do wipe wild dinos, so maybe that will help but how the Hunted mod spawns dinos is different, so figured that cave not have as many creatures spawning. Also, lag would happen around that cave but seems to be all over the map.

I've noticed I lag more when using the raft, something I don't usually use in Ark but is essential to use in The Hunted mod.

My PC is good but not the best, I can't afford to upgrade it, so we got to work with what we have. I'll keep going with season 1 of The Hunted and season 1 of Ark.

I'm sorry for the lagging and the way it effects me, I really would like to resolve this and hopefully I can but so far, I'm stuck on this.
