Weβre getting ready to release the CAD files for our winding machine. To make sure we can properly support our early users, weβll be limiting the initial release to a small group of around 10 people.
Originally, we planned to offer both a Starter Pack and an Advanced Pack. For this first phase, however, weβll be launching with the Advanced Pack only. Once we confirm that this delivery and support model works well for the initial group, weβll move forward with a broader public release.
Weβll be reaching out to some of the people who contacted us earlier to see if theyβd like to join this first group. This isnβt meant to exclude anyone β our goal is to ensure that early customers receive real value from the files and can provide meaningful, actionable feedback. We want to be transparent about how weβre approaching this rollout.
Requirements for the first group: - Ability to use CAD software (Fusion 360, FreeCAD, Onshape, etc.) - Access to a 3D printer - Willingness to join our community Discord server
Itβs also a big plus if you already have a project in mind where this winding machine will be used.
If you havenβt contacted us yet and would like to join the initial group, please send us an email.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Weβre excited to take this next step together.
Hey everyone! Sorry for the delaysβwe werenβt able to ship the partial machine kits on January 5th as planned. The core parts are still in transit, currently held up in Tokyo due to New Year holidays and some customs issues. Weβre doing our best, and we hope to start shipping within the next week.
We originally planned to release the CAD files alongside the kits, but I know some of you need them soonerβeven in an unfinished state. Iβll share them in the next couple of days after a quick review.
Thanks so much for your patience and support! π
Thank you for your interest in my BLDC winding machine! The STL files are almost ready for sale and will be available soon.
Here is the current pricing plan:
* STL files + BOM + Simple Build Guide β $300 Β Β This option is ideal if you want to understand how the machine works and build the exact model.
* Full CAD files + BOM + Detailed Build Guide + Guide on how to upgrade the machine for different stator sizes β $600 Β Β Choose this option if you plan to adapt the machine for various stator sizes.
Regarding the machine kit, I am still sourcing some parts, which will take additional time. If you intend to build the machine, I recommend starting to source common parts and working on the 3D printed and machined components.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to leave a comment or reach out to me via email.
Thanks again for your support and interest in this project!
Iβve decided not to open source the hardware design for the winding machine. I explain more in the latest blog post on my website, so feel free to check it out! BTW the software is fully open!
Some of you have asked if Iβll share the STL files for my BLDC motor winding machine. Out of curiosity β how much would you be willing to pay to download the project files?

I'm curious, how many of you own a CNC machine?
