Sri Harilal W. Poonja, or Papaji, as he is affectionately known, was an Indian sage and jivanmukta (liberated being) who embodied and taught Self-enquiry. His own Guru was Ramana Maharishi. The heart of self-inquiry is the question: Who AM I? that helps many people realize the truth of their being.
Papaji wanted recordings of Satsangs and books to be made available all over the world. The Avadhuta Foundation was established in 1993 and given copyrights by Papaji himself. The foundation is dedicated to preserve Papaji’s message as accurately and purely as possible.
