I’m Dread Yamada, a creator known for nonverbal ASMR cooking short videos. I usually don’t speak at all in my content, but this time, I felt it was too important to express nonverbally—so here I am, making an official announcement in words. 😄
Exactly one year ago, I left my former company, Highball Inc., to go independent. Even back then, ACD was already supporting me with my expansion into the Chinese market.
When I went to them and said, “I’ve decided to go independent—what should I do next?” their CEO, Mr. Furui, simply replied:
“That’s awesome! Let’s do something even more exciting together!!”
I still vividly remember those words.
While I can create short videos, I rely on them heavily for everything else… ACD has always supported me generously, and I’m truly grateful for that.
Now, with ACD, I’ll be taking on new challenges—things I could never have done alone:
🍽️ An immersive restaurant: Dread’s Kitchen 🌶️ A food brand: Dread Spice 🍣 Sushi training and expanding wagyu culture globally 🚚 Even showing up in a food truck someday!?
Up until now, I’ve been creating “food-porn” style videos that make people think: “That looks delicious! I want to try it!” and sharing them with the world.
From now on, I’ll be working to create real-world experiences where people can actually taste what they see on screen.

非言語のASMR料理のショート動画を発信しています、ドレッド山田です。
普段は動画の中でまったく喋らないのですが、今回ばかりはさすがに非言語では伝えきれないので、言葉にして発表します。笑
ちょうど一年前、株式会社ハイボールを退社して独立したのですが、
その頃すでにACDさんには中国進出のサポートをしていただいていて、
「独立するので、これからどうしましょうか？」
と相談しに行ったところ……
代表の古居さんが一言、
「めっちゃおもしろいやん！一緒にもっと面白いことやろうや！！」
と言ってくれたのを、今でも鮮明に覚えています。
僕はショート動画を作ることはできますが、それ以外のことは本当に頼りっぱなしで…
