Helloooo everybody! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! It’s been a while since I updated y’all on the indie series I’m currently working on, and since we’ve got a lot of new subs, I thought I might share about this passion project of mine.

For those who are new, I am working on an indie series called The Montauk Volumes. Here is a very brief summary of the series: three siblings (Wesley, Zoe, and Darby) and their neighbor stumble across an enchanted sketchbook that belonged to their missing father; as a result, they go on an adventure to find him and uncover the origins of the sketchbook. Throughout the series and the children’s adventures, they will come face to face with many strange, magical creatures, some being the cryptids of American folklore (such as Mothman, the Swamp Monster, and Sasquatch). They must be careful, though, because a power hunger cryptid by the name of Fester wants their magical book, and he will stop at nothing to get his hands on it.

Concerning my progress on the series, I’ve made lots of it! I’m about halfway done with the script for the pilot episode, wrapping up the development of the whole series, and getting close to the storyboarding/concept art stage. I have been a bit quiet about it, due to the business of the season, but I am still making good progress!

Helloooo everybody! I am back from my MONTH LONG break! I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving! On this little break I took, I did not touch YouTube AT ALL, so I definitely have some catching up to do. Like, Glitch made their own version of MARIOKART?! And I had NO IDEA?! Well, that was sort of the point of my break — to be blissfully unaware of what is going on on the internet. And let me tell you, those were some of the best weeks of my life.

As a little announcement, we will not be getting back to our regularly scheduled program quite yet. I’ve still got some school I need to finish up, so I WILL NOT be posting any videos this week. If anything, I might be posting some artwork here and there in this Community tab! I made lots of fun artwork during my little hiatus.

I hope all of y’all are doing well and that you all have a wonderful start to the Christmas season! Good to see ya again! 💕

It’s announcement time, everyone!! 🥳

Y’all remember that indie series I’m currently working on? Well, this week’s silly video will be taking a break from TADC and focusing on my indie series, The Montauk Volumes! (I have more than one interest, okay.) It’ll be featuring the main protagonist of the series, Wesley, and the main villain, Fester! Wonder what they could be up to? 🤔

Also, once this video is out, I will be taking a MONTH LONG hiatus. Yep, that’s right. I will not be posting or commenting here on YouTube for the whole month of November. My personal life has started to get a bit busy, and I felt like I needed to take some time away from YouTube to focus on some more important things. Hopefully it’ll be a good little reset for me, mentally, physically, and spiritually! ☺️ And don’t worry — I’m not abandoning you all!

Hello everyone! It’s time to spill the tea! You know how I said I went to a special somewhere this week? Well, why don’t I tell you a bit about that!

This week, I traveled far and wide to an artists convention called Lightbox Expo! It’s an amazing convention where you can meet with other artists, talk to some people from big name animation companies like Disney, Dreamworks, and Sony, and look for job opportunities in the creative world!

I got to participate in this convention and I had a BLAST!! I got to meet with ‪@samdoesarts‬ and buy some of his artwork (the K-Pop Demon Hunters one, to be exact). And, the highlight of my day was meeting none other than Andy Suriano himself, the creator of Rise of the TMNT!!! I had a good long conversation with him, and he was just an overall amazing guy to talk to! He even signed a poster for me (and drew Leo on it)!!

There were many other artists there, including a fellow from Glitch Productions and some other small indie artists. Overall, my experience there was fantastic! And if anyone was attending the Expo, I snuck a drawing on one of ‪@Procreate‬’s iPads! 🤭 Posted below is everything I saw plus some of the doodles I made waiting for panels!

Hey guys! Thought I’d give y’all a little update on the indie series I’m working on! If you like shows like TADC, Lackadaisy, and Gravity Falls, you’re sure gonna love this!

For those who are new, the general plot of this indie series is about three siblings who discover a magical sketchbook that belonged to their father (who went mysteriously missing 10 years prior), go on an adventure to find their missing father, and uncover the origins of the magic sketchbook. Throughout their journey, they slowly gain clues as to where the book came from and that it is linked to the cryptids of American folklore!

Recently, I have been wrapping up the development of Seasons 2 & 3 of the series, which involve LOTS of cryptids! There are two cryptids in the story who are extremely important to the plot: Mothman and The Swamp Monster. I’ve been working A TON on their lore and character arcs, and I absolutely LOVE THEM!! I don’t want to spoil too much for y’all, but I’ll let you in on a little secret about these two: they run a Cryptid Speakeasy! 🤫 Mothman (also known as Sidian) and The Swamp Monster (also known as Charlotte) provide a space for cryptids who need to relax, have fun, and just feel safe (away from humans, of course). And one fateful day, the three main characters accidentally stumble upon this secret speakeasy, winding up in a chaotic cryptid conundrum!

Here’s some of the concept art for Seasons 2 & 3, including character art of Sidian and Charlotte! Hope you guys are just as excited as I am to see these guys come to life!!
