Located on a 30-acre site at The University of Texas at Austin, the LBJ Presidential Library is one of 14 presidential libraries administered by the National Archives and Records Administration. The library houses the papers from the public career of Lyndon Baines Johnson and his close associates, as well as film, video, audio archival materials, and artifacts. In addition to supporting research, the library also seeks to increase public awareness of the American experience through relevant museum exhibitions, educational activities, and community programs.
