I am so sorry guys. I wanted so much to make a moving video for you, but honestly, this has been nothing short of exhausting. I’m tired and sore from a weeklong move, and never even had the chance to set up a camera. I might do a LIVE broadcast at some point over the next two weeks as things settle down and I’ve rested.. but doe now. I’m laying low. But o can’t wait to show you guys what we’ve done so far and how much work we’ve already done to make this place a home. Today was officially our last day in the old home, and it was the last day to finish loading up the rest of our things and do a basic clean in the house. It’s been an insane week. We are so glad to finally be done with the old, and moving onto the new.

Hey everyone!!!! Guess what we started doing this week?!?! Yep! We’re moving!!! We have brought several loads of boxes and stuff over this week, but we get the big moving truck for the furniture on the 25th(next Saturday). My father is being kind enough to dive the truck for us, and that will allow me to
drive my suv with any extra goodies that might be left behind.
Right now we have a washer and dryer up for sale (not a matching set) that was left here at the house. The landlord told us that we could sell it and keep the money. He doesn’t care about it. So that’s what we’re doing. We are also going to either sell the refrigerator we bought when we moved into the other house, or give it to one of our daughters. Once we unload those things, moving in here will be so much easier.
Just wanted to update. I hope you guys are having a fantastic weekend. 🥰

Hey ya’ll! It’s been a bit since I sent a message…. More or less because nothing new has been happening.. BUT….today, I have a big surprise for you! I am so excited and so happy to finally share this news.
As you guys know, my husband and I are moving out on our own WITHOUT KIDS!! We are leaving this massive house and the massive price that goes with it, and each couple that lived here together is going their separate ways. My daughter Lexi and her boyfriend have already moved into another home, and my son and his girlfriend have found a place as well. They will hopefully be leaving here in the next couple of weeks. But the biggest surprise is that WE FOUND A PLACE! This year, my husband turned 56 years old, just in time for this lease to be up. We now qualify to live in a 55+ community. As we were searching for homes to rent, we did 4 home tours within 2 weeks of each other. The fourth house we saw, we applied. And we got it. It’s in a beautiful 55+ community, one that has been around for at least 70-80 years. I grew up in the small town just west of it, and used to dream of living in that community when I grew “old”. 😋 Im not really old yet, but I’m getting my wish, and I’m beyond grateful. 🥹
Here are some photos of the inside of the place. The lease has been signed and the earnest money to hold the home was paid today. It’s ours officially, but we won’t have keys in hand until we pay the prorated fee for April. We will start slowly moving in around April 15.. or so.
I will be putting together a new video for you guys. I am trying to figure out if I want to do a video of us moving out of this home as well…. I’ll let you guys tell me in the comments what you’d like to see. But for now, I know for sure that there will be a moving series that will take probably 3 or 4 videos total to complete.
I am also thinking about going live here on YouTube one day over the next couple of weekends. I would love to have you guys join me live, if you would. I haven’t talked to you guys in so long, I think it would just be fun. So I’ll schedule it and post the time and date for you.
And now… without further ado.. let me introduce you to our new home… I love and miss you all so much.

Hey hey guys!! I’m still alive! 😆😆 I’m bringing you another update.

This year has had a lot of twists and turns, but I’ve needed the break from social media and YouTube.. so I’ve been busy with my Korean studies. Interestingly enough, those studies took me to TikTok, where I already had an account, so I found my way around the platform and have become a content creator there, teaching the Korean alphabet and going LIVE and hanging out with some new Korean friends that I’ve made there. I do plan to come back to YouTube, but I’m not completely sure how or when I will continue. Things about me have changed, which means some things about my videos might change too.
We are moving out of this house once the lease is up. It’s been very difficult living here with everyone, with all the noise, the uncertainty of the stability of certain family member’s paychecks and jobs, as well as my hours increasing at my job, and my husband and ai making future plans. I will be returning, but nothing is set in stone yet. I’ll keep you updated once I know what we decide. Moving is going to be hard. We still don’t know where we will go, but another mobile home looks like the answer right now. Homes are just too expensive here. I am hoping my husband can take a better job in a state with better weather and home prices. All we can do is pray and wait in the Lord in that area. In the mean time, we will be doing some house hunting.
We just celebrated 33 years of marriage yesterday! I can’t believe it. When we got married, people told us we wouldn’t last 6 months. Shows how much they knew about our relationship. 🤣 It’s been a rollercoaster ride for sure, but it’s also been very interesting! I wonder what the next 30 years have in store.
My throat issue is much worse than it was before. Talking is exhausting, and it causes a lot of tension and tightness in my shoulders, neck and back, as well as my throat. As a lot of you know, my vocal cords are having issues, and it’s due to a nervous e system condition, according to the doctor. I don’t know what that means for the future, but I truly hope we can get to the bottom of it and fix it.
Otherwise, things are ok. I’m excited for what the rest of this year has in store.

Well it's been a minute! I've been just enjoying life and not deadlines. It's been much needed.
I don't know when I’ll be back here putting up videos.. but I will give you a life update.
I have been learning Korean since about
February.. and it's coming along nicely. I can now read and write in Hangul, so that is a big step forward! I'm studying phrases right now and trying to get a better handle on the language. One day I hope to visit South Korea, and even Japan.
Been a dream for a long time.
Anyway, I'm good. Getting ready for work. It never really ends.

Hey everyone.

Life sure does throw curveballs, doesn’t it?! It’s amazing to me how one day, things can be going well and then the next day it’s just all seems to fall apart.
Things are changing for us here at At Home with Mandi. I have been asked by my husband to work full time, and to help more financially. Since YouTube is basically ignoring this channel now, there is no income coming from this source, which means that this channel will have to be put on the back burner until further notice.
I want to thank you guys for always being so supportive and being such sweet friends to me. I will not have any time to put into videos now that I will not be home as often. But who knows what the future holds other than the Lord? I will put my trust in Him, and I will resume videos when I can.
