Temple History
In the year 1813, Mr. Suriti Appiah Garu (Doliberar), who was working in Secunderabad, was transferred to Ujjain Tower in Madhya Pradesh. A few days after his transfer, thousands of people died of cholera in Ujjain. At that time, Sri Appaiah's followers visited Sri Mahakali Amma in Ujjain to protect her from cholera disease, and when the conditions were favorable, Sri Amma's idol was consecrated in Secunderabad and a temple was built and prayed to serve her, and thousands of people were saved from cholera disease. Later, Sri Suriti Appiah and his followers returned to Secunderabad and in the next year 1815, they made a wooden idol of the goddess at the place where the goddess is now, consecrated it and worshiped it regularly.
