May laruan ako noong bata pa ako na gustung-gusto ko. Naglalaan ako ng ilang oras sa paglalaro kapag hawak ko iyon. Matapos ko kasing gumuhit o sumulat sa laruan ko na iyon ay nagagawa nitong mabura lahat para makagawa ulit ako ng bagong maiguguhit.
May pagkakatulad naman sa laruan ko ang ginagawa ng Dios na pagpapatawad sa ating kasalanan. Binubura ng Dios ang ating mga kasalanan at nililinis tayo. Ginagawa ito ng Dios sa lahat ng magtitiwala sa Kanyang Anak na si Jesus. Kaya, kahit naalala natin ang mga nagawa nating kasalanan, pinipili ng Dios na patawarin tayo at kalimutan ito. Nakikita ng Dios ang sakripisyong ginawa ni Jesus sa krus.
Lubusang nililinis ng Dios ang ating kasalanan at hindi Niya inaakusahan nang ayon sa nagawa nating mga kasalanan (Salmo 103:10). Sa halip, pinatatawad Niya tayo sa pamamagitan ng Kanyang kagandahang-loob. Binibigyan din tayo ng Dios ng bagong buhay upang mamuhay nang ayon sa nais Niya. Inaalis din nito ang anumang kahihiyan na dulot ng kasalanan dahil sa kamangha-manghang biyayang ito ng Dios.
Ipinapaalala naman sa atin ng mga sumulat ng Salmo na inihiwalay tayo ng kasalanan sa Dios na parang kasing layo mula sa silangan hanggang kanluran (Tal.12). Pero ganoon din kalayo kung nilimot ng Dios ang kasalanan ng mga nagtitiwala kay Jesus. Ang mga taong nakatanggap ng kapatawaran at kagandahang- loob ng Dios.

Waiting for God's help in the midst of trouble is hard; it can be tempting to try to find our own solution first. Waiting for God takes faith and patience. But when we see His answer at the end of it all, we'll realize it was worth it. And what's even more amazing? God is waiting for us to come to Him!

In Psalm 143, as in many of his prayers, it's only David's faith in that unshakable, "unfailing love" that tethers him to hope a time when he feels utterly alone. But a lifetime of walking with God gives him just enough strength to trust that the morning will "bring me word of your unfailing love". Just enough hope to trust again and to let God lead the way to paths unknown.

Let the morning bring me word of Your unfailing love Lord, for I have put my trust in You. Show me the way I should go, for to You I entrust my life.

Only Jesus can fill the empty spaces in our hearts with life. If you're feeling empty, call out to Him today. And if you're experiencing serious struggles, seek out godly counsel. Christ alone provides life that's abundant and fullโlife full of meaning found in Him.

Jesus said, The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10)
God's great love enables us to go on, to get up to face the day. Our trials may feel overwhelming, but we won't be destroyed by them because God's love is far greater. If you're going through a dark time, don't lose hope. You will not be consumed by what you face. Keep trusting in God's faithful love and provision for you.

Because of the Lordโs great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23)
It takes humility to acknowledge that we need helpโnot just any help, but Godโs helpโand it is His grace that will sustain us through the difficulties we face.
