hi! it's been so so so long, but hi, kylie here (you might know me as marki jackson).

it's been what, two years? since i've been on youtube, how are you? if you've been with me for these past seven years and are still here reading this, thank you, thank you sm for your support over the years.
a lot has happened since i left, but i've always been so confused about the channel "marki jackson", because of how everything i've done here is so very special, not just to me, but to all of you (in which i will never ever be able to thank you enough).
but i thought it was time to move on. i thought there's no good in doing what your heart doesn't resonate with anymore, and so, i've decided to stop, and that was already two years ago. i've been unsettled by how i was truly fortunate enough to have such an opportunity here that many other people might wish for, and yet i'm just ending things just like that.
but i've finally found something i wanna do here that resonates with my heart, and that is to contribute music, along with my family. i've found joy in contributing to youtube again by co-creating with my family, a joy i've never really found in the past few years i spent as marki jackson. and so, i've made the decision to start over, as a whole new channel to put out what we've created together. this is what i want to do with this channel. we'll be making lo-fi music, background music, and more, our first video is also already out, so if you'd like, i'd be very happy if you can come along with us. i hope the music we put out can somehow reach you, comfort all of you who've been here for so long, and also new people. i will be moving forward to this new chapter of the channel, ikigai.
but once again, thank you for having supported my dream of making content for the person i look up to come true. i will forever cherish the days i happily spent here as marki.
