Concrete Slump Types (Quick Guide)

✅ True Slump: Even settlement—good workability. Accept.

⚠️ Shear Slump: One side slips—poor cohesion. Repeat test and investigate.

❌ Collapse Slump: Mix collapses—too much water. Reject.

⚠️ Zero Slump: Very stiff mix—acceptable only for special applications. Investigate for reinforced concrete.

Rule: Only place concrete that achieves the specified true slump. A quick slump test helps prevent defects and costly rework.
