Looking for a good recipe to use with your lemons? This lemon, tarragon dip is delicious! This is one of my favorite dips ever! I love tarragon and lemon together!
1 cup mayonnaise, zest and juice of a lemon, 2 tablespoons tarragon and parsley, plus salt and pepper to taste.
Potato hashbrowns, creamy avocado, a sunny-side-up egg, a sprinkle of broccoli microgreens, and sriracha 🔥
This plate isn’t just delicious—it’s doing good things for your body: ✨ Protein + healthy fats from eggs and avocado = steady energy ✨ Complex carbs from potatoes to keep you fueled ✨ Broccoli microgreens for a powerful boost of vitamins, antioxidants, and sulforaphane ✨ Sriracha to wake up your metabolism and your taste buds
Simple ingredients. Big nourishment. Proof that breakfast doesn’t have to be complicated to be powerful 💚
Fava beans are one of those plants that quietly do so much good in the garden.
Yes — the beans are delicious. Yes — the flowers are edible and beautiful. But what I really love? They help your soil while they grow.
Fava beans are nitrogen fixers, which means they pull nitrogen from the air and store it in their roots. That nitrogen becomes available to the soil, feeding future crops naturally — no bagged fertilizer needed.
🌼 What that means for your garden:
Healthier soil
Better harvests for the next plants
Less dependence on synthetic inputs
A more balanced, living ecosystem underground
They’re easy to grow, thrive in cool weather, and have very few pest issues. When the season is over, you can cut them down and let the roots stay in the ground, returning even more goodness back to the soil.
This is the kind of plant that reminds me: sometimes gardening isn’t just about what you harvest; it’s about what you’re building for the seasons ahead.
You know the saying, "Once you have had a home grown tomato, you cannot eat one from the store?"
Well, the same goes for greens. Home grown greens have soo much flavor, and they are simple to grow in pots, grow bags, raised beds, and in the ground.
Did you know most lettuce in grocery stores have likely traveled around 1,500–2,000 miles from where they were grown to the store shelves where you buy them?
What are you waiting for? Grow some lettuce and let us all strive to be more sustainable.
When I was born, the doctor told my parents, "She is tiny, but mighty!" I think this apron was meant for me. 🥰 Thank you @lvsseed for the gifts!
People often ask me what are my favorite seeds to buy. I love to try all different companies and new varieties. Lake Valley Seeds are awesome! I find them at Green Acres and other nurseries, and of course, you can order them online.
Are you getting excited to start your spring garden? Are you trying anything new this year?

Upcycled Bird Feeders
I have been collecting cute curtain rods (ones where the top twists off) and fun plates to make these upcycled bird feeders.
I drill a hole, attach the curtain rod, and then put them in the garden with bird seed. They are easy to clean and pretty to view.
