I’m personally so happy about the recent reveal in Doctor who. I was so moved to see such a beloved face.

But, I have to get this off my chest. I understand that people don’t like the direction dr who has gone. To some degree, me too. But there’s so much joy that I find in the show.

The amount of people who are so utterly miserable, cynical, who can’t find joy in the smallest of things - it’s not doctor who, you’re the problem! These people are miserable, cynical, want to moan and want people to join in their festering filthy bitter attitude towards life.

I thought that finale was entertaining, a beautiful ending, the writing was objectively clever (and I could back this up), and the sheer joy I felt to see such an incredible face return again is a level of joy I rarely experience. ❤️

Announcement (maybe).

I don’t want to settle in quality. I want to use the better method, but it’s SLOW (5 minutes per frame). This is the only way to get the quality we want and I can’t settle for less.

The solution is to utilise multiple powerful computers - either cloud compute (about £30 per chapter), or purchase multiple gaming pc’s…. I have the funds for neither, but what I do have is a fan base who loves upscaling Doctor who.

Before I create such a fan-based project, who would want to contribute?

If anyone wants to reexperience watching an episode of Doctor Who series one in 2005 for the first time again, watch the second coming, with Christopher Eccleston, written by Russel T Davies, scored by Murray Gold, aired in 2004. It really does feel like a lost episode of Doctor Who. .

Doctor Who (2005–2009) was a show that depicted the ignorance of humanity. There was always a war going on beneath people's feet, and the Doctor always went unacknowledged and unappreciated. It portrayed the reality of doing good and how lonely that could be, with the companions being the ones who saw what he did for people and fought for him when others wouldn’t.

It was set in a world just like ours, where people just went to work, ate chips, and watched EastEnders, while a hero was risking his life for people who didn’t even care. This is what resonated with audiences—a savior wandering amongst the stars, fighting for you even when no one else cared.

If you were lucky enough, you’d get to see his blue ship, witness a miracle, thank him, and then return to your normal human life, forever changed by the knowledge of how big the universe really is.

This is a theme that should be explored again—a hero who fights for you when no one else cares.
